Selz
One Chance - the biopic about Paul Potts It was quite good, I give it a C
Selz
Armageddon. First time I'd seen it since I watched it in the cinema in 1998
kidfresh832
Divergent - C+ I read the books so I figured I would finally watch the film and it was just meh.
Rock & Roll Hall of Game
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - I was off today so I wanted to see a film. It was between Lucy & DPA. I chose DPA clearly and I chose wisely. This movie truly had me at the edge of my seat. The pre-pre-sequel film was action packed along with some emotional moments that would touch even the most evil hearted-person. ( B+ )
kidfresh832
Guardians of the Galaxy - A It was so fun, the cast meshed well together. Had a really unique vibe I thought from other Marvel Movies but it still felt connected. They did a good job
JoeJoe
"Planet of the Apes". Great movie! Loved it. I give it an "A" "Hercules" plain sucked. Didn't like it at all. It gets a "C" from me. That movie in no way made Hercules look like a God. When the Rock fought that big boar that they showed in the commercial for those few seconds, well that was about how long the fight lasted...just a few seconds. Don't go see it. It's a waste of money. Hercules was just a normal man with huge muscles. smh

jarrylf
22 Jump Street - A, I don't know if I like it more than the 1st, but damnit it IS good Sharknado The 2nd One- A (for what it is, F for if it were ever taken seriously), SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNY. I loved all the cameos, I for sure loved it more than the 1st.
Aquaria
Europa Report Wasn't quite sure what to expect, and at first thought the movie was moving a little too slowly. However, the ways it's done really makes you feel subconsciously or not that it's more of a documentary, so that when they landed on Jupiter's moon and put a video probe under the ice, I had to remind myself it was not actually real and was filmed on earth. The ending is unexpected and exhilarating and made the tone and pace of the film make sense for an ending like that to work. Thought it was well done. Bailey
The Amazing Spiderman 2 C- Aside from Andrew Garfield's ass, and even that is tired now....I couldn't find a thing that great about this film, and honestly believe it's time to put Spiderman back in the vault ..all those fucking villains and zero focus on development.
jarrylf
Get On Up - A-, GREATLY done, will be shocked if theres no Oscar noms, it was told VERY interestingly, different than most biopics. 1 thing I didn't like is you know how at the end of every biopic they show the real person in clips throughout the persons life, for this....just pictures..........ITS JAMES FUCKING BROWN, show the real man dancing damnit. Other than that I loved it all & look forward to seeing it again.

jarrylf
Yup. I LOVED the 1st one but the 2nd one is fantastic!! Exactly, Im sittin here thinkin "WHAT was there not to like?" The pace was great, the story was great, Andrew Garfield. Seen it 3 times now, and still consider it the best of every spiderman movie we've had. jarrylf
Idk.. Felt like the story was a bit blah. But from what I hear it's the most consistent with the original comic than any movie we've had about Spidey

To me the film shouldn't be a carbon copy of the comics.. It's 2014.. Throw some creativity in it
