The 30 Rock star, who wrote and starred in the 2004 original, told Movieline that she declined offers from Paramount to make the sequel, which started filming this month as a straight-to-DVD production. “It’s funny, because now it’s shooting and I don’t really have anything to do with it,” said Fey. "I haven’t read it or anything like that. Paramount was very generous and solicitous with me for several years, saying, 'Would you like to do it?' And at the time, I was like, 'They should just let it be what it is!'" She continued: “Now, its like, why not just do it? I should have done it, because now it’s happening anyway!” Desperate Housewives star Maiara Walsh, Nicole Gale Anderson, Jennifer Stone and Meaghan Jette Martin are among the cast for the new Mean Girls, which centres on two girls facing off against popular high-schoolers 'The Plastics'. It is being released however by New Line Cinema. It is considered comedy. This is the type of movie that will literally keep you on the edge of your seat and captivated throughout the entire movie. The movie starts with a family moving to a new town. Moms will be about a happily mother of two. They move from small town America into the high class suburbs and they are essentially faced with confronting the cut throat world of competitive parenting. Mean moms is going to be phenomenal because in some ways it stems from the movie Mean Girls. Mean moms does resemble this movie in some ways although the story line is very different and the screenwriter changed a lot of things. The producer and director will be hoping this movie goes over well at theaters and in box offices just as Mean Girls did in 2004. Considering they are both derived from advice books they are a bit the same. Although there isn’t a lot of information for this movie yet. As more details and information are disclosed we will do our best to update you on the movie. Giving you the release date and rating. These will be soon as it gets closer to the filming of the movie. From the lower class of life to the high suburbs of being high class moms with children compete for a lot of different things from their children. The first thing being love.
