  1. I'm not the screaming type. I'm the type to cry inconsolably. :asham: That being said, there are several artists namely Janet, Bey and several Rock legends like Jon Bon Jovi or Springsteen that I'd do that over. Michael and Whitney if they were still here. Quite a few actors/actresses in the mix, too.

  2. I'm so happy that hack of a film didn't win (Boyhood).

Harry Potter was made over the same period of time. You want to see characters age and children growing into adults? JK Rowling's got you :coffee:

Yup, and she did it much better, too. :coffee:

  3. Saw the show but skipped through much of it. I felt a little disappointed by NPH, but that's because I had very high expectations after Ellen.

Big congratulations to Julianne on her much-deserved win. It's been a long time coming. Even more congratulations to my dear Eddie for his win. I can't say enough how phenomenal he was.

I'm so relieved that "Boyhood" didn't get Best Picture. I saw all the nominees, and that film was the weakest of the bunch. "Birdman" wasn't my first choice, but it's a great choice to win.

I lived for Patricia Arquette's speech and for Queen Meryl cheering in the audience. That was everything.

  4. #READ

Yea personally I wish the awards she got were for other songs from the album ala Partition or Haunted (no secret DIL don't do anything for me personally), And YES Sing caught me and the album never let me go! It's so damn good and it's just timeless and so versatile.UGH I love it so much, I haven't listened to the 1st yet

I approve, the test tube children would be BEAUTIFUL!!!...and way cool....with a strong personality/sense of humor

Oh definitely LOL, when I come by to visit the neighbors will all know  :lmao:

I know right?! DIL has grown on me a little when I skip Jay's verse, but Partition and Haunted would have been MUCH better choices. You gotta give the first one a try. It's much more cohesive. It's solid in its whole as an album.

LOL! They'd be some serious smart-alecs, too. This actually doesn't sound like a bad idea. :shifty::wub::lol:

Have mercy. That suburb will never be the same. -_-:lmao:

  5. My god, I haven't seen this much immaturity since I graduated high school. For fuck's sake, get a grip.

ME TOO, like tho I really like Sams album, it didn't move me the way it did most, deserved a few Grammy's for sure but Ed's album is the only 1 nominated that actually moved me. I think Bey & Sam's albums deserved their AOTY noms, but either of them winning over Ed or Beck I wouldn't be here for (Im not that into Beck, but I know him, like a bit of his music and madly respects his artistry).

I agree completely. I was content with seeing Bey and Sam at least get noms, especially Bey. I'm glad she got the awards that she did receive, even though I did side-eye that loss to Pharrell. I guess "Happy" did have that much power, lol. I agree with whomever said it before that this album is perhaps the most deserving of hers for AOTY, but it had to be either Ed or Beck for the win. I'm not really into Beck either, but I can certainly respect his artistry. Ed, though, has been a fave since his debut. I loves me some him.

  6. I WAS GONNA SAY IT, like I think the album deserved a Grammy or 2 (remember who's saying this, take the complement stans), but not that 1. Like to me it honestly should've been Ed, his albums life has been RIDICULOUS,

Yes! I LIVED for Ed's album. It quite easily got the most plays and praise out of me last year. I loved Bey's album A LOT, but Ed's was my hands-down choice for AOTY.

  7. The only illness in the news has been Ebola and it sure isn't that haha. We thought it was food poisoning but then I broke it down when I realised that the night we became ill, we didn't eat the same things. I thought it was just a winter illness but never in our lives has the whole family been struck by an illness at the same time. it was surreal lol.

Wow really? I didn't know Measles was still a thing - you just never hear about it much any more around here.

Huh, well that's really strange, lol. Nothing else really makes sense besides those things. At least you all are getting better, though, haha.

It wasn't for the longest time thanks to everyone getting vaccinated, but then the "anti" movement started with its conspiracy theories from Jenny McCarthy and her bullshit about how vaccines lead to autism which is a highly unsubstantiated claim. She garnered a following and now we're here.

  8. Yeah I'm not going to either - mainly because it's my bedtime haha. I want to see Beyonce perform though.

PS Sorry for not replying to you. Peep my thread I just made - that's why haha. I'll be back to normal from tomorrow.

Yeah, I wanna see her, too. It's just that no-one wants to see the crap they're going to put ahead of her performance, lol.

It's alright, no need to apologize. I just read it. I'm just happy you're doing fine now. No rush. You take care and keep gettimg your rest, haha.

  9. Oh my, that sounds horrible. :( Is there something going around out there that's maybe been ln the news? Maybe it's just as simple as a winter thing or food poisoning for you. Here in the States, there's been a big hoopla since a big group of morons refuse to vaccinate their kids which have lead to some small outbreaks of things like measles in some places.
