  1. That part!.....I find myself repeating that to myself sometimes lol I LOVE the way she sings it......everything about that entire song is perfection tho.

Yes indeed. The sample, the vocals (for those who say she doesn't emote, her longing for 'that old thing back' is palpable), and and it's a great showcase of her songwriting ability...and the video is the perfect interpretation of the lyric. It's one of her best songs imo, and my fave installment of the Back In Time trilogy.

Even the club mix goes off....

  2. This song tho.....

    It wasn't raining yet

    But it was definitely

A little misty on that warm November night

    And my heart was pounding

    My inner voice resounding

    Begging me to turn away

But I just had to see your face

    To feel alive

And then you casually walked in the room

And I was twisted in the web

    Of my desire for you

    My apprehension blew away

    I only wanted you

    To taste my sadness

As you kissed me in the dark

    Everytime I feel the need

    I envision you caressing me

    And go back in time

To relive the splendor of you and I

On the rooftop that rainy night

And so we finished the Moet and

    Started feeling liberated

And I surrendered as you took me

    In your arms

I was too caught up in the moment

Couldn't bear to let you go yet

So I threw caution to the wind

And started listening to my longing heart

And then you softly pressed your lips to mine

    And feelings surfaced I'd suppressed

For such a long, long time

And for a while I forgot the sorrow and the pain

And melted with you as we stood there

    In the rain...

  3. Why would she apologize in a song if she never meant Beyonce as she says? "I am sorry your fans made you think I said something?" This heffa just want some airtime

Exactly, that's crazy. She's just making herself look like a fool, yet again. It's not like an apology's gonna matter anyway. I think the state of her career has more to do with her being mediocre and boring than the Beyonce flap. I guess if anything, it might keep her from getting dragged every time she tweets.

    Keri Hilson Apologizes to Beyonce

It's long been rumored that Keri Hilson tried to snatch Beyonce's wig once with a remix to her hit single Turning Me On

Now, in a new interview with Revolt TV, Timbaland talks about a new single where Keri actually apologizes to Beyonce...

    Timbabland tells Revolt

“I got this one song I did with Keri on my album called Sorry and Keri actually tells the story about the whole Beyonce thing and how she was sorry about it because she really wasn’t talking about her but other people [created the hype]."

  5. I think it's 'femphobia' more than anything....like it's OK if you're gay, just don't be too girly or 'flamboyant'. Everybody that knows B. Scott knows that he is all about grandeur and fabulosity and how he expresses himself. He obviously had approval if it was up to the point where he was on live TV...so for them to yank him off, make him remove his makeup and outfit only to come back and find out he'd been replaced had to be humiliating. Someone clearly didn't like the way his look came across on TV, but that's what he gives you all the time. And how could they be so worried about the sponsor when: A consultant from Procter & Gamble (the company who sponsored the BET Style Stage) watched the entire incident play out. She came over and offered her words of support and encouragement. ‘We at Procter & Gamble support you and we do not agree with what BET is doing to you’ . She also explained to me that someone made the call to have me pulled, and that it was the wrong call.

For them to try to make him defeminize himself and be someone he's not was all the way fucked up. I bet nobody told Prince he couldn't wear his makeup and heels...

  6. At this point the said she just down to her restaurants and cook books which by the way has shot up the best sellers list due to this controversy lol

UPDATE: Paula Deen’s publisher announced it has cancelled the publication of Paula Deen’s New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up.

The book wasn’t due until October and was already #1 on Amazon via pre-order…so much for that.

  7. Well, Idol did just wrap in May. Maybe after having more idle time to analyze the project, she wants to tweak some things....and whether it helps or not, I love that she's doing her 90s multi-format Maxi-single thing again.

  8. You lying right? :umm:

Damn that hoe losing shit left and right. I guess she had to learn the hard way that racism ain't as tolerated as it used to be back then. At least not here in America. There are alot more biracial families and just relationships such a friends, best friends, associates, hook-ups, teammates and whatever else.

She also lost Target and her Diabetes sponsor Novo Nordisk today.

  9. well okay I just wanna hear people's thoughts...I know all that "crying" shit she doing aint helping honey gone somewhere wit dat shit...Matt went in today....he stayed on subject..like but how many times have you used the word....okay I hear that but...are you afraid the companies that will drop you will cost you money? ...Matt is a cynic I think he don't buy her shit either...plus theres always the stuff we don't know that may have gone down...I mean a white woman blew the whistle on her.

Not a single teardrop fell...and she tried sooooo hard...Matt did OK, he was supposed to be tough on her. I died when he asked her if she was there because she was sorry or to stop her brand from bleeding cash. It was a trainwreck. Then the bitch said "I is what I is and I ain't changin!" I know her publicist damn near died. They should have let Al Roker conduct the interview. He was the only one who brought up the slave wedding thing...and he checked the hell out of Natalie Morales about 'blacks using the word all the time'.

And yes, her creating and maintaining a racist & sexist work environment so vile and intolerable that another white woman had to sue her is very telling. But let her tell it, "there's an evil person out there that saw what she worked for and wanted to take it from her". Get the whole fuck outta here, Paula.
