Oh no sorry I didn’t mean “looked after” as in she takes after Rebbie appearance wise (although there are a couple of photos of Janet where you can def see the resemblance), I meant “looked after” as in Rebbie helped take care of Janet a lot.

Neither had I, thats why I had to post it. I read or saw an interview with Rebbie ages ago where she said that she felt as if Janet was her own as she looked after her so much.

Sort of, there are other black performers inducted that were in the charts in the 80s but none that started in the 80s. The Staple Singers are a group of sisters/brother that are already inducted.

Agreed. But it should never have got to this point. When the teacher made the call to the police, if she was truthful and said it was because the student put her feet on a chair then the control centre should have told her that it didn’t warrant police intervention. The teacher should be charged with wasting police time. They should be out fighting real crime, assaults, drug crimes ect. This is a social issue, if there is any friction between students and staff then it should be dealt with internally.
