  1. I'm mad that you keep claiming Creole status. You sound like those black people who like to front and say that their great-grandmother was Cherokee.

Haitian =/= Creole. Wyclef ain't Creole, so how are you? No shade.

    :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

  2. Haters gon' hate. I don't see nobody else from our generation getting called to do tributes to Legends like Aretha. Notice how wherever Legendtina is on the stage even if she's with other girls she's always placed in the middle. There's a reason for that :coffee:Mad cause your fave can't do this :filenails:

Okay! Thank the heavens that my faves wouldn't howl into a mic and call it 'singing'. :asham: Cause chile...

    and

    :lmao: :lmao:

  3. I kinda disagree about TAT tho. I don't think it would have been a big hit, but it was certainly more radio friendly than SOAG

You think TAT is radio friendly? Neither TAT or SOAG are radio friendly songs. You can hardly make out what Janet is saying.

I think the only radio friendly song after DRM, STCML and AFY is COAG.

  4. You think the beginning is out of her vocal range? There are parts after the buildup where she gets close to screaming I agree but i don't think she actually gets screechy. It goes with the lyrics imo, the pleading begging tone of the lyrics the vocals match

In the beginning she's just screaming but the parts when she goes "with you" is out of her vocal range. TBH, the song is more fitting for a singer with Adele type of vocals.

    It almost sounds to forced..

    I like the guitar.

    Exactly.

  5. This is much more accessible to the general public. I actually find this very pretty, the vocals are sorta tender and pleading at the same time. This is a great album track imo, but it might be too slow for a single.

Really? It sounds like the total opposite to me. Kinda like screaming and out of her vocal range...

  6. BTW, she's doing Eskista (a traditional Ethiopian dance) before she dances with the two guys. B)

EDIT - She mixed the Harlem shake in with the move. When doing Eskista you don't rock your shoulders from front to back like Beyonce did. You just stand up start with both shoulders aligned and vibrate those shoulders! :w00t:^_^

BTW, the Harlem shake derives from Eskista.
