Damita Jo album was inconsistent... filled with meaningless songs and fillers, with a recycled theme..

The Super Bowl did allow it to get Janet’s highest first week sales ever and it went on to become double-platinum HOWEVER it is Janet’s weakest album since Dream Street and that.is.a.FACT

I liked Damita Jo minus the sexual songs about JD... Ewww. But to each his own.

Same here. I know she has to be sick and tried of it. Even if the tide has turned in favor of her. It's more of an embarrassment not an accomplishment. This sh*t literally derailed her damn near spotless career. It's a sore spot. 

I don't care what nobody says this woman definitely belongs at the top of the greatest artist to exist. Those 4 album set the stage. But can they stop fu*king mentioning Michael. Like damn we all know he's her brother. I hate how some people feel the need to always do that to her. She stands alone! Especially since I just heard the interview with Kelly Alexander. With the journalist/R&RHF voter who basically said that one of the reasons it took Janet so long to get in was because of guilt by association. Some voters in the Hall felt that MJ was guilty and held it against Janet. The Jackson name is turly Janet's biggest blessing but also her biggest curse.

I got pissed off when they mentioned Janet in part 1. He only did a remix for her. And it was before the Aaliyah stuff came out. I didn't know that Michael wanted to work with R Kelly only after he had heard the anytime anyplace remix...and really liked it. R Kelly is sick as hell. And I turly believe he has put some kind of voodoo root on those girls and women to get them to stay with him.  Shit is crazy!!!!

She has also been called the Janet Jackson of South Korea. Had Janet been pushed more in Aisa she would have been massive over there. They love her.
