    Anyhow, creating made up set lists and costume changes is a dangerous game. It can raise expectations.. that’s all I’m saying ??‍♂️

    My expectations as are low as they can be LOL
    I just made that up for myself and decided to share... I do that with a lot of artists I like :P

    I enjoy creating concepts, tell a story through music... I'd love to work with that!

    Anyway, it was just for fun.

    So I let my creativity flow again... LOL
    This weekend I imagined what would be my dream/proposal for the SOTW Tour stage and setlist. I made the stage concept using a 3D software (first time I EVER used it! So, not my best work...) to illustrate what was on my mind. It's basically the Unbreakable Tour stage with a few different details.. Like the backdroop screen and the stairs: In one side it would be glass, so she could use the light box effect, and on the other antther LED screen. The smaller stairs take to a second stage level where the band would be.
     
    What do you guys think?  :P

    SETLIST / concept
    Like Janet said on the announcement video, the show would be about people, love and the world.
    Would also have some political statements, but not as its main team.
     
     
    ACT 1 - Legacy
    INTERLUDE: Same audio from the Unbreakable Tour intro. Janet walking through a hangar/corridor, walls made of tv screens that shows her videos/performances/awards.
    While she walks, we get camera close ups on her heels, hair, jewelry, eyes, mouth... Then she stops in front of a door. Door opens, show starts!
    OUTFIT: Very modern, black or white with silver details. 'Make Me' video style.

    ACT 2 - Out Of Control Medley
    INTERLUDE: While she's changing, a few dancers take the stage. Screen shows some 80's/Tony Viramontes/Street Art vibe video segue.
    OUTFIT: Very colorful/vintage outfit. Like the one she used on the Control Medley during the AFY Tour.

    OUTFIT: White dress. Metal shoulder pads. Golden jewelry. Number Ones Tour 'Nothing' dress style.

    ACT 4 - Conversations In A Cafe/Dream Maker (Euphoria)
    INTERLUDE: Dream Maker (Euphoria) playing. Video would have a more ethinic vibe, but with a modern twist. 
    Try to imagine the Got 'Til it's Gone bar + Rock With You club/lounge.
    OUTFIT: Very futuristc. Geometrical cuts and metal gloves with african textures and colors. 'Black Panther' movie vibes!
     
    Free Xone (Janet comes on stage in a chair/throne, as music goes on she goes down the stairs and joins the dancers on main stage)

    ACT 5 - State Of The World
    INTERLUDE: 2017 version of The Knowledge video! Remember the opening hangar? This time screens would show war, prejudice, manifestations...
    Angry Janet breaks the room and all screens. Last shot would show the place wrecked, wires everywhere, broken glass and electricity sparks popping.
    OUTFIT: Black, military style.

    Yes, it's old... Unbreakable rehearsals.
    Preston is on the picture but he's in Hawaii right now. And before that, was in Japan.

    About the hair... She could have attached her extensions back. But anyway, the picture is old and all media outlets are saying that's her post-pregnancy body lol

    The Lion King Smashes Box Office

    ur really gonna start a debate about which is better between Lion King and Captain EO...?! ??

    And me saying that Beyoncé was copying MJ/JJ was partially in jest.. you see, folks have been claiming that Bey bites off the Jacksons waaay too much for at least the past decade (and with good reason).. yes, she usually gives her dues and compliments towards them, but still..

    and yes I made the Disney connection between MJ because there was CLEARLY a connection.. they spent $17mil on a lavish, over-produced 3D music video to be shown solely throughout their parks. Yes they got rid of it in the 90's, partly because MJ wasn't as in demand as he used to be, but mostly because the film itself had aged terribly.. yet still, even after all his troubles, after he passed Disney felt it necessary to resurrect Captain EO in all its parks worldwide, after showing his children a private screening of the flick. Disney didn't only bring the film back, but most/all of the merchandise that came with it, including shirts, figurines and posters plastered with Michael Jackson's face. Disney had a relationship with MJ, like it or not..

    Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that's beyonce and Disney have done together, so this is a first for them it seems.. more power to her.. I don't dislike beyonce, I've been to her shows, I've bought some of her stuff... I like her.. I was just sayin..

    Disney Parks and Walt Disney Animation Studios are two diffrent things. Same group, both make a lot of money, the movie caracters are in the Parks blah blah blah, but still, two diffrent things.

    MJ always loved the world of Disney. He loved the movies, the parks, everything! So, when he was asked to bring Captain EO to life (a park-only attraction, that only came back in recent years because he died), of course he said yes! But really? Nobody remembers that expect MJ and George Lucas' fans. It was a park attraction, how many of those come and go through the years?

    IF this Lion King rumor turn out to be truth, it will be a movie star/studio deal. Angelina Jolie played Maleficent. Johnny Deep played the Mad Hatter. Emma Watson played Belle. Beyoncé might play Nala. And about the soundtrack, they might even ask her to sing a theme song, but I doubt Disney would trade Elton for Bey. The Lion King soundtrack won a couple of Academy Awards! Elton John, Tim Rice and Disney had a long run partnership... I think they will update everything, like they did on Beauty And The Beast. But they would never throw Elton John's work away and come up with all new R&B sounds for the movie.

    The soundtrack is 50% reasons why the movie is so iconic.

    The VMAs WOULD be fire!
    The last cool edition was back in 2009, and not only because Janet performed or MJ's tributes. It was a nice show to watch, very 90's MTV...ish.

    And after Discipline Era/MJ's tribute, it seems Janet and MTV got their respectfull relationshop back on track. MTV is not the same... We all know that. They only air those "shitty stright couples tryting to have sex by the beach reality shows"... But the VMAs are the last breath of the MUSIC TELEVISION.
    Still iconic for pop culture, young audiences watch it etc

    Would be nice for the first MTV ICON to get back there and show who's the boss!
    But I won't even bother saying more cause it's not going to happen LOL

    We almost missed this one! LOL
    No one saw this, only a few people shared it and I still can't find more/the original pic in any media outlets/photo agencies.

    Rumor has it this was taken in London last saturday (the background looks very similiar to Janet or Wissam's apartament over there). I'd say she flew back during the weekend to deliver Eissa back to Wissam or to deal with some legal divorce stuff.

    The Alternate Black Cat video

    Agreed, the only things I REALLY love about this remix is how her voice stands out (but it doesn't match the music), and the 2nd guitar solo.

    Yep... I love alternate versions!
    I'd love to see a different take of I Get Lonely. There are so many cool sets on that video (mannequin/snake dress) but we mostly see flashes of it.
    The choreography is dope tho... I understand why cut all the rest LOL

    Due to her slimming down, I could see her in a new outfit 

    her dancers.. I can’t even remember what they wear

    WHAT? How is that even possible?
    The dancers outfits were 99999% cooler than Janet's... LOL
    The Unbreakable Tour would've been 50% better if Janet traded outfits with Mishay or Dominique.
    Just saying...

    I like Robert Behar's work. His vision is amazing!
