  1. Not too much on Jenny. I love her, and she's one of the best performers in the game. It's undeniable.
  2. I always hear BURNITUP! at my Planet Fitness.
  3. Ummmmm all this Make Me hate??? Where did all this come from? That vid and song were great. It was a major return to form, and that classic Janet dance track after Damita Jo and 20 Y.O. saw her dabbling in more urban based uptempos. Then the video was perfect too, it was her first dance video since 2001 that didn't involve her dancing in a dark environment. Now NOTHING... was trash. I've played it over 150 times, but only because it was a new Janet song. That song is hands down one of her worst ballads, if not the fucking worst. And the video is a joke. Good riddance to the JD-era.
  4. I really do love Greatest X and never cared too much for Never Letchu Go. I enjoy it for what it is, a Janet album track. However, I do feel Greatest X and Never Letchu Go showcase two of Janet's WORST vocal performances. Especially Never Letchu Go and that horrible production AND vocal production. I think With U is one of Janet's best ballads (at-least post 2000), it's such a beautiful song. I've really grown to appreciate it a lot more in recent months, and I feel like it deserves more recognition than what it gets. Lessons Learned is a gorgeous song as well. Everything about it is perfect. The lyrical content is deep, the melodies are on point, the production is fresh, and the harmonies are stacked right.
  5. JLO's set was definitely televised. Not the whole thing, but parts. We also got some good fan video too: So we SHOULD get some decent footage whether it be professional, or fan recorded.
  6. That white outfit in particular is NOT flattering. The redesigned one they introduced for the Miami show is much better. *for some reason I can't embed pics* http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/10/02/20/2D064C2000000578-0-image-a-125_1443815353332.jpg Is so much better and sleek.
  7. This is what amazed me. The progression of the lighting during the BURNITUP! performance. Notice how intricate and precise the lighting arrangement is. The song starts out pitch black with a silhouette of Janet, then she walks out on stage (still in silhouette), and the spotlight turns on right where she's standing while the backdrop kicks in as the chorus comes on. One of my favorite parts is really subtle, it's the transition from verse to chorus where all the lights fade in and out really quickly with that... whizzing-like bass. Then throughout the second verse the side screens kick in, and get brighter as the verse progresses. Then again, the transition between verse and chorus, but this time it's even more intense and blinding. It's creates another silhouette for a split second. The really cool part during BIU! is how the strobe lights surround the stage and start flashing into the audience during the second chorus of the song. The lighting during the show is just all around spectacular.
  8. "Baby, this is how I do it" Is what I think it is.
  9. Well... I'M excited for this show. Janet hasn't performed since... fucking November. I'm excited to see the new changes brought to the table. It's her first performance post-surgery, post-tour revamp, post-video shoot... It should be interesting.
  10. The Rich Harrison tracks get a lot of flack for some reason... But he really DID push her to sing out of her usual range, and I appreciated the hell out of that. Every track on Damita Jo was sung in that whispery-coo-like voice... but those Rich tracks? He had her singing in her full voice, albeit a bit high. That alone was amazing.
  11. Confirmed, the shoot was for Dammn Baby. Peep the #damnbaby hashtag.
