I must admit, last night when I finally got out from work and finally could look and see pictures and watched her speech, I truly felt like damn dude I should have been there. Here is the culmination of decades of her work in a huge honor and I wasnt there. BUT hell there are a lot of fans on this board that are down for Janet like four flat tires and they weren't there. i went to just see the ppl on the red carpet, but last minute tickets were like $80 so I said “hey, why not”

Heavier? She looks the same as she did while she was on tour. No one was saying she was heavier while she was out shopping for Eissa’s bday. It’s the hair style + frumpy outfit that just make her look heavier

She’s been parading her hits for the last few tours, in glad to see her shedding them and embracing other songs, and so is the crowd.
Janet knows that the crowd is a mix of her super fans, her casual fans, and just regular people. Even if the crowd isn’t particularly hype on a song they don’t know, it doesn’t mean they aren’t enjoying it and getting to know it. It’s part of the experience of going to a concert.
