  1. I’m an atheist to my core so all that medium bullshit is exactly that to me, bullshit.

however, I still love watching things like Ghost Adventures bcuz it can be entertaining af, and I like entertainment. So maybe I’ll check out this bs medium show to see what Latoya’s nose is looking like latey.

    It’s vague. Like the interview

Everything Jackson-related is vague, so nothing new there.

But I will remind folks that every posthumous MJ project has always began with vague info from the people involved dropping hints in interviews and/or on social media.

And Jackie is the only Jackson sibling who’s literally on the MJ Estate’s payroll as a consultant and has had a hand in nearly every project that has been released since 2011. So he probably knows what he’s talking about.

    But ultimately who knows ??‍♂️

  3. THE JACKSONS KNOW MICHAEL IS STILL ON STAGE WITH THEM:

JACKIE JACKSON says a short drive from his house is all it takes to bring music legend brother Michael to mind – and start the tears flowing.

Jackie, eldest of the Jackson brothers, lives in Las Vegas where a Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson show is a massive attraction.

So, even after nearly a decade since the Thriller star’s death in 2009, his image is still everywhere.

“I still miss him very much,” Jackie, 66, tells iN10.

“Every time I go to the Strip and stop at a red light, there’s a bus or a billboard with Michael’s face all over it.

“It seems to happen without fail, seeing him right beside me. I say, ‘Hey, little brother’ and he says, ‘Hey, Jackie, what’s going on?’

“He’s always there with me and my eyes get teary, but with a smile.”

Jackie, who’ll be playing in Scotland with his brothers at Scotfest this summer, insists he’s so proud of the work his younger brother did.

Jackie says Bruno Mars was working on some of Michael’s music earlier this year and it’s indicative of its staying power.

“It’s still around because it’s great music,” he adds.

“That’s what happens with great music, it lives on because that’s what people want to hear.

“The songs put you in a happy state or in a sad state. There’s something for every mood.”

The Jacksons will be star attractions at Scotfest at the beginning of July. Boyzone, B*witched, Liberty X, Five and East 17 are among the other acts on the bill.

Jermaine, Tito and Marlon will, as usual, be alongside Jackie on stage but having performed with Michael since his earliest childhood, he still feels the loss.

“You never forget those days,” says Jackie.

“We’ve been out there performing without him for years now but at any given time we know where he was going to be on that stage.

“We feel the emotional vibration all the time. It gives us a big charge because he’d have given 110% and that’s what we try to do to.

“No one could do what he did but we try to do the best we can knowing he’s up there on stage with us.”

It’s as high-energy a routine as ever and Jackie admits he hits the gym to get in shape before taking to the road.

The workout sessions start at 5am as he has a full family life.

He and third wife Emily have four-year-old twin boys, River and Jaylen, and Jackie gets back from his workouts to get them ready for school.

“I love being a dad,” says Jackie.

“They know every Jacksons song, every Janet Jackson song, every Michael Jackson song. They’re pretty sharp boys and can do all the routines. I watch them and reminisce as they’re doing all the things I used to do.

“I can see myself in them when I was their age. I spend my days running after them. They like me to act as a big bear and chase them.

“They keep me fit. It’s a great thing if you are an older dad as it keeps you sharp and active.”

Jackie insists he’s never lost his love of music and has his own label where he’s been working with a French duo called Gold Lemonade.

“I love finding hot acts and seeing producers and record companies get interested in them.”

Jackie is no stranger to Scotland, both from big Jacksons tours and also from holiday visits.

But with a nice lifestyle in Las Vegas – Celine Dion lives two doors away, Chris Tucker two doors the other way – isn’t there a temptation to put his feet up enjoy home life.

“I don’t think like that,” he adds. “My boys love watching their uncles and myself performing.

“Of course you like to be home with your kids but after a break I want to get right back out there.

“It’s great exercise for me and it’s what we do best. I’m at my happiest when I’m on stage, especially when my family can be there too.

“My wife is from Amsterdam so when we go to Europe she’ll come with the boys.

“She’ll go and visit her family and friends and then we’ll all hook up.”

As much as I hear what your thought process is and get why you feel that way. I don’t know if you might consider what it felt like to Janet to be blackballed and to watch the person who participated with you thrive, distance themselves, & then be supported on the main stage that tarnished her career.

The experience of very political racism being used as a scapegoat for politics and change. Having jokes made about her, having to answer to the questions 8 years after while Justin is NEVER asked, losing endorsements, not being able to tour for 2 albums & then when she gets to tour having to cut it short because she’s no longer selling like she used to - and touring being the PRIMARY way artists make their money. Having to make nice and play nice while everyone is playing you so dirty. Then allow that same platform you were completely dismantled from to reach out in THEIR time of need & say - hey, let us use you as a pawn again to show we’re trying to be “understanding”... after we already allowed the other half back before you.

Janet experienced racism and sexism in a VERY BOLD form, and the angle you’re presenting kinda has racial implications that I’m sure you’re not aware of. It’s like - You get whatever we give you. If we say you’re welcomed back then you’re welcomed back. You dance when we say dance...this is a very twisted display of control.

If Janet believes in karma which I KNOW she does - I’m sure she’s looking at their fall from grace as a response to what they allowed to happen to her.

All of what you said is true and valid and I’ve made all of those same points over and over throughout the years.. but it’s a new day.. she’s a mom now.. I don’t think she’s in the headspace of holding grudges, especially when the CEOs and leaders of said companies/entities are no longer in play.. it’s a new world out there.. when’s the last time Janet did all these crazy music festivals one after the other? When’s the last time she got married/divorced? When’s the last time she wa a mother? All of that shit (and then some) had occurred since her fall from grace (and yes, the quality of her music did play a big role in that downfall).. regardless, again, I never said it was probable or likely to happen.. but. I. Would. Not. Be. Made. At. All. If. She. Chose. To. Do. Just. That!

teach this country a lesson, Ms. Jackson... educate them! I’m here for it

The perfect story! That probably won’t happen bc the NFL don’t give a shit

    Who is Queen Elsa?

I’ll take all your sarcastic comment as a compliment.. I’m not saying it’s gonna happen, or even likely. But to think that the NFL didn’t take notice of the reaction to Janet NOT performing alongside JT (i.e. JJ trending higher than JT/NFL on Super Bowl Sunday, JT having the least viewed HT show in almost a decade, etc) and that they’d want to redeem themselves in light of their ongoing controversies all sort of adds up to sense making...

and you basically told me to “let go” of my SB theory..and I was watching Frozen with my kids the other day...and well.. you get it now ??

How do you think Janet feels about Super Bowl treating minorities speaking out against the same thing her tour was about?

Maybe Janet can bring her show to the SB Halfime platform and it could be a national educational experience.. a win-win for all sides of the spectrum.. and who better to do that than someone who’s been bringing massive amounts of awareness to these issues for decades.

Imagine the press release the NFL would create to appease skeptics: “In continuation of our commitment to understanding and appreciating all voices from all walks of life, we gladly welcome any messages of social inequality and injustices that Ms. Jackson will bring to our Halftime stage.” Etc etc etc..

Why do you think Super Bowl is in her interest to do again?

JT’s halftime show was the least viewed halftime show since the Black Eyed Peas.. the NFL tool full notice of #JanetJacksonAppreciationDay and are in the process of winning back viewers (especially black viewers).. Janet isn’t dumb.. she knew performing with JT this year wasn’t the right choice for her to make.. but having the halftime stage to herself would be.. she’d be able to rewrite her Super Bowl history and close the chapter on that once and for all..

    ??‍♂️

Let that go. They’re not picking Janet. She has nothing to promote

You may be wrong.. none of us know.. is it likely? I’m admittedly not sure.. but I won’t go all Queen Elsa about it until they announce who tf is gonna actually perform

My guess on this tour?  She's trying to build up some steam before the international leg (which should be obvious given the amount of festivals).  It also gives her the opportunity to fill in some time gaps around her festival dates, and secure additional bag for her crew on this very tight summer tour.

Two other guesses are 1) She wants some sell-outs  and 2) She wants to really build up her younger audience.  The festivals, a mid-summer tour... it's honestly a great promotion strategy before you drop new music.  Lacking huge front end promo budgets from their record companies, this is how young artists build support for their albums and mixtapes today (ex. Logic).  The amphitheaters should sell out rather quickly, and how awesome would a complete sell-out tour look before new music drops??

    My guess:

she’s doing the super bowl next year!

and she’s wanting to have a strong summer showing for when she’s announced as the halftime performer in late Sept/early Oct.. it’ll sound really good for the NFL and Pepsi if they can include in her announcement press release that she just came off of a blockbuster sold out summer tour!

    think abouts it

I can kinda see where you're coming from with the pictures of her, but that opening was epic! But as far as pyro, it can be a bit expensive & it's something she's probably won't really do anymore. Never say never, but unlikely.

Also arguably, pyro isn't as epic as it used to be unless on HUGE stadium stages or outdoors. Now the wave of performance is more so visuals. I think she did the best with visuals SOTW tour than she's done - idk MAYBE ever. I think the announcement will be something about the festivals & a stay tuned for new music. New music is coming very soon.

You sound like Gil tryna convince fans that pyro is on the outs lol.. pyro ain’t goin nowheres.. I didn’t say she needed stadium level fireworks but moreso even what she had on Unbreakable tour.. that opening concussion blast when BIU began would’ve sufficed on SOTW (should’ve exploded right when her silhouette appeared).. and like I said I loved the opening SOTW intro video with the controversial topics and all that, but once her tourbook pictures started to appear on and off I thought it was tacky

I get being over the stage but we have to realize in order for Janet to make a net profit her overhead has to be within a budget that matches her demand and to her credit they did amazing things with the lighting and the introduction

I fully agree with this regarding the Unbreakable Tour intro (black eagle)..

I also really liked the SOTW intro video clip but I didn’t like the video/intro once The Knowledge started playing.. I thought it was tacky af to have Janet’s face appear on the screens in and out right before she came out lookin dope af.. I liked how she appeared suddenly in silhouette on the ride side of the stage, but it was a missed opportunity to not have any pryo/blast when her silhouette popped up..

Hmmm she may like the song but she also liked Weekend and you see how that turned out.

its not #1 hot 100 quality.

Eh I guess .. in all truth we really don’t know how much she liked Weekend.. we don’t have any actual tangible evidence that suggests it was indeed going to be an actual sent-to-radio single or actually included on any album.. she clearly didn’t like it enough to perform live ever so there’s that
