??‍♂️ We get it. You don’t like it. This coming from MJ biggest supporter. His music isn’t for you

Jesus. You people are the worst ??‍♂️

I love how you can’t address a single thing that I commented on either....you just turn to “oh you’re bitter and you don’t like it”...

but Normandy.... PLEASE ADDRESS WHY he bit off Michael fkn Jackson soooooo hard in this new video!

why is he doing the circle glide that MJ made famous?

why is he grabbing his crotch like MJ?

why is he doing the forward scoot like MJ?

why is it all focused on a dancing robot (machine) like MJ?

why is the guy fkn MOONWALKING in his own video?!

you cannot answer these questions and I suspect even you YOURSELF was lowkey taken aback in first viewing of this video and you had to have uttered to yourself under your breath “my god he’s copying Janet’s brother more than ever”.. ?

I absolutely don’t HATE jt, he’s rather talented and he has made some stand out songs (Blue Ocean Floor is a gem), but I do HATE what he does and doesn’t do by rarely acknowledging his practice of taking from one community and passing it off and selling it to the masses as something he created and perfected...

oh don’t get it twisted Norma, I get it....

    its YOU who doesn’t..

    ??‍♂️

  2. That new video is seriously such a ripoff of MJ, probably the most he’s ever straight up copied him since his first album.

I mean the guy legit fkn moonwalks in the video....MOONWALKS! ??‍♂️

ALL that poppin-n-lockin-n-dancing-machining it up is another example of stealing from the black man and use it as his own..

its more obvious in that one video alone than I could’ve imagined it being lol

  3. He has turned his back on people time and time again to only holster himself up on an even higher pedestal than he’s already been handed..

-he did members of Nsync wrong back in the day

-he cried to his mommy on punk’d

-he never told Britney he was going to have a dead-on-look-alike in his video

-we already know the backstabbingness he provided to janet

-he basically used the phrase “All Lives Matter” when confronted by a black twitter user asking him to stop appropriating black culture

the guy has showed his true character time and time again and because of his white privilege he’s given the pass time and time again.. idk how anyone, let alone a black person, can seriously look at themselves in the mirror and profess their fandom for someone like him.

  4. Bro u Stan for JT so tough it’s almost comical.. you’re pretending as if he’s some musical messiah who’s specifically come to shove his dick down ur throat.. like ur def allowed to have ur own opinions about him but the tone of your statements so far is just really weird and off-putting.. the guy is mediocre at best and wouldn’t be anywhere near his level of celebrity had it not been for a large handful of black people hoisting him up for him to stand on their shoulders.

Finally got to watch it just now and its a C at Best.

There was not enough Superman AT ALL.  I mean he was resurrected early enough that there should have been a lot more of him.  But they had to spend entirely too much time "introducing us" to Cyborg, Aquaman and Flash.

Aquaman - Yeah he hot but there was too much "dude bro" shit for me in his characterization.  I liked Mera in her one scene wanted to see more.

Flash -  Barry I knew from the trailers I probably wouldn't like this characterization of him either.  He's much smarter and more well rounded than he's portrayed here I just didn't like it.

Even Batman is portrayed as old grizzled been at this for 20 years.  I mean where's the rest of the Bat family if he's been at it this long Dick should be Nightwing by now and he should be on Tim Drake as Robin or even Damian by now.  No mention of them when you need all this help is just weird

It all looked hashed together and poorly executed for something this expensive.  I don't honestly see how anyone could give this anything but an average grade.  It wasn't as bad as Suicide Squad and Batman vs Superman but those are low bars.

If you saw BvS then you’d remember that Robin was killed by the joker, so he’s not around to help.. we don’t know if it was the Dick greyson robin or Tim Drake or Jason Todd or Damien but Robin is out of the picture according to BvS canon.. and yea I enjoyed JL quite a bit, but there are too many noticeable flaws that should’ve been buttoned up better by WB.. but WB seems hell bent on stepping on their director’s toes.. they reshot half the movie and took a ton of footage out completely that it’s no longer the same film that Zack Snyder was trying to make it be.. I’m looking forward to an extended version once it’s released on Blu-ray, because the director’s cut of BvS made it a waaay better/more watchable movie compared to the theatrical version

  6. My daughter and I just watched A Christmas Story a few nights ago.. we both have never seen it.. and I think I probably would’ve liked it more if I was watching it as a kid, my 9yo daughter said “it was fine” when it ended.. but I did not like it much at all.. it was pretty boring and lame and the only part that really held my attention was when the kid got his tongue froze to the pole. I just don’t understand why it’s such a holiday classic cuz it really really was not good imo..

  7. I know why she postponed that tour and I understand everything but for you to say she came out swinging hard is just a plain lie lol. Who's mad about it? I was front row at the "Unbreakable Tour" in SF so I ain't mad about nothing cause she didn't postpone on me.

I was also front row at the SF Unbreakable show.. the one on the 13th.. wbu

  8. In a perfect world. The media would not stop until Janet history was damaged like many of the black artist that came before us. What upset me the most is Janet denoted a lot of her money, time, voice, power and heart to help the world HEAL and a titty was her downfall. Not drugs, abuse but a TIT! . Janet was Black Mega Star that did not have 1 flip under her belt, Performing at the Super Bowl in TX ( red state: sexism, racist, republican) with Justin Timberland. This started Youtube and was on every news outlet for weeks. Sorry, there was no return from this backlash

she legit should’ve had her own Halftime show period but fkn MTV always over saturated all of the HT shows they produced.. even Aerosmith should’ve had their own show but instead they had to perform with *NSYNC and fucking Nelly ??‍♂️

really just fuck MTV in general

  9. I’ve always felt that she made ANDS her biggest “B-side” single in the sense that it wasn’t getting any type of radio AirPlay almost anywhere and BET was the only channel that sort of had it in rotation sometimes... and the only reason most casual/non-fans are even aware of the song is because of how many times she performed that thing on every show in every time slot that she could think of.. after all those performances and interviews the song never took off like maybe she thought it would, but IWY actually charted a little I think, and that was because radio stations were playing that pretty steadily, but I think it was partially because Kanye West was known to have produced that song and he was getting big that year so that helped.. plus the fact that it’s just a better song out of the two, she’s actually singing real intelligible lyrics and using different octaves.. plus the add-libs were great on IWY and nowhere to be found on ANDS.. so idk what’re I was going with this anymore but there it all is

  10. Moist is actually good... tolerable... the next step from WYM, Rope Burn... she just went too far with Warmth.

You posted no lies. The bottom five albums no matter what order you put them in, will always be the bottom five because they were not classic Janet albums... just collections of songs made for Janet

no to moist.. sure it’s one step better than warmth,  but he two of them go hand in hand imo... plus I’m one of those people who oddly doesn’t like the word “moist” in general.. like, for me, I like pussy when it’s wet...ain’t never been no girl ever tell me that they’re moist... ugh..

but with those bottom three albums (not counting JJ/DS) my fav tracks are Feedback, Luv, RWU, Curtains, DITM, Take care, L2L, ENJOY (!!), island life, STWY and country (haha naw jp fuck that)

..so yea there’s def some legit pieces of gold corn sprinkled throughout her shittiest shit

  11. That would be true if we were talking about sales but quality wise (by critics and let’s cut the crap about the SB and it’s PR nightmare... The SB didn’t create Warmth), Damita Jo is subpar in comparison to its predecessors.

    I agree about Warmth/Moist ...I criiiiiinge...

but without counting JJ and DS, Discipline is her least good album, 20YO is the 2nd least good album, and DJ is her 3rd least good album..

all the albums listed above still contain a handful of gems, but yes, thematically speaking, musically speaking, lyrically speaking... those three are definitely her weakest efforts to date

  12. Rollercoaster :coffee: Other than that.... He did give her a modern sound.

    He also wrote Curtains ^_^

yea I don’t like rollercoaster very much.. never did.. don’t like her yelp add-libs and her drowned out vocals.. sounds too frantic and all over the place (like a rollerco—.....ooooh..)

  13. Rodney is literally the 2nd best producer (after Jimmy & Terry) to work with Janet and give her quality. I think Rodney is ...

    1. A straight up fan of Janet.

    2. He studies.

    this.

plus, I’ve always felt like he brought a more updated “Jackson” sound to his tracks he did with Janet. I think partially because he worked so extensively with Mike, and considering they both were hugely influenced by him from the jump, made it a more natural progression/transition going from JJ/TL to Darkchild (as opposed to, say, JD to Darkchild).

  14. It was AMAZING!!! She started promptly at 810p.. I just grabbed my beer. My seat was amazing.. I sang through every song. The guy to my right was jamming, the gays to my left sucked ass. I kept bumping into them both

I was hoping for Scream but it’s cool. Some songs she could have shortened and extended others but it’s cool.. the crowd got hype during Nasty, MYM, WITOY, RN, AFY, STCML... They did a Janet chant for a minute.

The show went by sooo quickly but I stood the entire time. Like non-stop hit after hit. She even sang STCML which I think replaced Island Life.. I’m not mad at that at all. STCML is life.. I was shocked she sang it. I recorded that and Well Traveled fully

CLE was packed and rowdy but I doubt her best crowd. Mix audience of race, age, but mostly women.

All in all CLE Loves Janet.. 4.5/5 Crowns

By far the best show of the three shows I’ve witnessed. My soul is cleansed

glad for you that you finally got to see her

  15. It's a shame that the good ideas always have to get scrapped! That would of been a much better film! lol

yea I’m hoping for an extended cut when it comes out on Blu-ray.. they did that with BvS and Suicide Squad already, and WW also had an extra scene on the Blu-ray (it was basically a post-credits scene)..
