Oh yea, there is also the wild card of Janet having "surgery" to extract some of her eggs for a surrogate? She could be going the Beyonce route with a private surrogate...so she can keep a low profile for the child. She did just congratulate Tyra publically who we all know did the surrogate thing. She's usually more private about even her congrats. I'm not using that to validate anything, but it does make me wonder if she's going the surrogate route. Everyone says she could still tour & she needs to rest up, but that could be for her involvement in the process & getting the best eggs...idk, just thinking. 

As I go back over this, and think it wouldn't be crazy to believe she had been trying for some time. Although I did wonder, if this is something she tried through her time out of the spotlight. I do think about the age thing...but what can really be said? It's so surreal to me. I would love to see Janet as a mother & it blows my mind because I almost felt she didn't really want any. But, despite people not believing it, I think for Wissam & Janet especially culturally & in their religious they believe in multiplying & Janet wanted children now that her life aligned with something she could see herself raising children in. 

This is so crazy. I'm very happy for her but it feels unreal. She could do this album with her being a mother reimagining some of the music even Unbreakable...something that also clicked for me, when Europe was cancelled LN claimed "there is so much going on in Janet's life right now." 

It's like everyone else knew something in the camp before we did. 

First congrats to what they're building, but IMO the excuse came after the idea to cancel the tour. I wholeheartedly believe Janet knew the US dates were going to be cancelled when the Euro dates were. 

I think we all could feel the shows being brought to an end, but she couldn't just say it before Dubai. So what I think is, they decided to take the time they have & "work on a family". Also, adopting doesn't make sense to rest. 

Anyway, the timing is so convenient vs the years hiatus she took. 

TVR gets the win for me too. That album was insight to Janet's pure genius for me. From a personal perspective. To me, "You" being about dealing with yourself & looking yourself in the mirror...THEN using the mirrored concept to spell the word Conscience backwards?!?!????! 

My God that entire thought process, so dope & deep. I don't think that gets enough study amongst fans. I actually hate You was a tour video. It should have been Janet battling Janet. & her writing  E-C-N-E-I-C-N-O-C on the mirror. 

Cant B Stopped, Anything, VR (entire concept), Empty & Full interlude, just the whole fucking album  

BUT Unbreakable is knocking at the door. Dream Maker, Black Eagle, UB, Lessons Learned, Well Traveled, Daamn Baby, Night, Promise of You, Love U 4 Life epic! And I know I forgot one or two. TGF is a song I like, lyrically...but sometimes have to be in the mood for. AYF is deep & I love how deep she went, but it doesn't get much play. 

Damn! I forgot about So Excited, but yea I liked So Excited too. Even tho it was ANDS 2.0. I really liked the choreography & the flashes of her in & out of her clothes. 

Weekend was a terrible song. And Game, why is it ok for you to recognize weekend sucked...but others critiquing the videos is not?

I completely loved the dance parts of Feedback, and still do! Just the leading to it was just ok...

The RWU video was good because of choreo but didn't like the style. 

Make Me was generic and I didn't like it but the choreo was good. 

Feedback, was good...but the video leading to the dance part is eh. But after is dope. 

ANDS was dope! Maybe the last great & I loved I Want You 

I'm simple but you're ass can only see one side of a complex equation. Janet's decline happened post super bowl. That's common knowledge, I see your trash ass ignored my statements about Justin's career relationships post super bowl & went right back to Michael. Michael is the biggest musical celebrity to ever live...he too took a hit. And honestly, Michael made better business moves than Janet & Madonna combined until the executives saw him as threat being that he used to own damn near half of Sony. So those allegations within themselves were deeply rooted in a lot of conspiracy. 

And if you think Michael did not face racial tensions then you are still an aloof dick, comparing apples & oranges. Janet at this point, YES is the catalyst of her own problem...before this there were other factors. I won't explain racism anymore to you because you're someone who doesn't see it intentionally. Your perspective is pointless to debate with. 

What does RHOF have to do with the conversation? Stop compounding shit, if it wasn't racially bias Justin would have experienced the same treatment. Period. He would have lost endorsement, performance privileges, career would have been hit, but that didn't happen. 

Madonna can simulate sex with a religious figure & it not even blemish her. So, your lack of being able to see it doesn't make it less real. You're like Diane Sawyer thinking its just "Little tiny toxic darts" where as Janet who EXPERIENCES it first hand, overstands its not little it's blatant. I'm sure this might be an unpopular opinion but I HATE comparing race struggles with sexuality discrimination. Despite them both being social issues, the depth is just not equal nor is it parallel. Race and skin color & ALL the horrible tragedies that came with it is so deep. Skin color is something you can see immediately. Sexuality is not. 

There ARE people who are sexually fluid, and sexuality is not black & white. It has various components to it for many people. For people of color it just is what it is. So even though I have experienced both sides of those issues its always been major to me that those two can't be compared.  they're not remotely the same experience.  

Without having to give a history lesson, you do realize the states, although a Mecca of racial tragedy...many other people of color from ALL over the world suffer the same injustices. And when that racial divide was being created all those years ago it wasn't being done in one place. So don't be so quick to "ugh" about the situation & be dismissive. When you're on a message board supporting someone who has faced these issues herself.

The only thing I will say about the jewelry line is I don't understand why people are upset they can't afford it. I honestly don't get that, when Janet was endorsed by Jaguar I believe...the people who drove a Toyota didn't complain then...why is it a big deal that she as a specific product for a specific market? I don't understand that. 

Why should the fan base be able to afford every single endeavor she pursues?

thank you! I feel when people ignore the added race barriers in the problems faced by people of color, it's to say that race does not play a role in what happens. Madonna has been called controversial & a pioneer damn near all in the same sentence with her "controversies" damn near being uplifted as groundbreaking instead of inappropriate. 

Lets keep it real, the FCC used Janet as a pawn because she was an easy target. She's black, she's a Jackson, & people can get with being outraged by her shenanigans. If the FCC was so concerned about Janet's breast in front of millions it wouldn't allow sexually suggestive commercials to air during the super bowl. On any given day, you can catch something much more provocative on prime time television besides Janet's millisecond tit. 

If this was about the fairness of her being "wrong" why wasn't Justin handled with the same equal punishment for being involved? Janet was used to push censorship & the FCCs politically correct agenda. Furthermore, the picture was frozen & the video was repeated on the news for weeks following...why did the FCC allow that image to be embedded in the memories of all those who could have missed it? It was all bull shit. 

I remember all those projects. I really wonder what was happening in camp Janet. Seriously. Her coming back with so much leverage on her side after being gone so long, but it wasn't fully capitalized. Let's give the benefit of the doubt, her health caused some setbacks, but if there was more promo in the pipelines set to come down...it would have made up for that time period. This album was toooooo epic, literally stands against her old work easily  

I so badly want her to come back & be strong & do well. I hold out the most hope for her even when it's not looking at its best. I keep saying there's one more strategy she can leverage & it would create buzz, and that's the turning of 50 for her. Especially with a song like Dammn Baby lyrically. 

I also said in another thread the dancers are being under utilized. Their talent surpasses anyone she's had in recent years. They could have choreographed things themselves for her.

Personally I liked the dancing I got in FB I liked the build up to it & the end. RWU the dancing was classic to most people and really dope. 

But I think Janet could have made this era work without public performances, if she would have engaged fans by talking to them and doing in studio interviews discussing the process and the lyrics. If she would have done a documentary to raise money for her charity affiliations with SKB, if she would have done periscope. Just minor changes that make her more visible. 

The only hope is this videos being epic & her playing off her 50th birthday & the symbolism of that milestone for her as the next and last biggest Jackson. 

Lastly BET awards would have been dope if she performed Rhythm Nation with the new generation of celebrities backing her up. She would have looked like a true leader in the game, and it would have promoted her label

Do you feel Janet would defend you going in on her neice or her neice for not knowing better? I absolutely get that she shouldn't blast a public figure in a public format...but regardless, fans going in on family as if they have a right to is crazy as shit to me. It feels obsessive. The solid truth is we don't KNOW Janet. In reality she could have been a major BITCH to her neice over anything, and we would never know. The neice could be completely wrong or completely right. Either way, if all else fails that's forever her neice.  I pray & hope they're on good terms because family drama is the worst, and her father & Janet are close...but we never know the underlying circumstance.
