You can mold the program to fit your goals though. I've been doing Insanity for eight months now, it's done me really well. When I finally got used to it, I started adding routines to do after the videos, like weights and other anaerobic cardio, so I never really plateaued. Doing that also put on more muscle mass than the program usually produces, which I wanted. Plus it's quicker, which is a biggy for me because my day begins with the sunrise and ends long after it's gone.
But I've wanted to switch to P90X for a while, I'm just afraid. I don't want to look like a bodybuilder and I'm scared that it'll slow my metabolism now that it has adapted to more rigorous exercise. Which one did you do first?
