I’ll say this, indirectly…Janet has been dropping subtle hints to you all as far as direction. From the African dance in Throb to the attire for the BMA.

It’s very uptempo & afrobeat vibe for sure. With a pop/commercial kinda sound.

And I believe the video has the potential to really deliver - it’s in the right hands creatively.

    OMG!

Y'all really sit in here all day and argue with that fool lmao

    !!!!

is there an ignore function on here?

hes miserable, i don’t post on here often but everytime I swing by she’s literally dismissing what someone has said, valid or not.

never seen someone so combative, argumentative and committed to being a contrarian all the time.

its like she either thinks she’s the only Janet fan to exist or something.

like damn let others have an opinion, you don’t always let someone know they’re “wrong”

  3. RWU would have def been a hit.

its one of my fav Janet songs of all time.

    those “ohhohhh ooooo oooo o”s

    its timeless, catchy and simple

It fitted right in with the dance craze at the time in Europe and with Janet’s signature style on top, it def would have been a moderate sized it if promoted right.

Feedback was def a fun song, and that’s what she needed at that time for her return, something catchy, radio made, still signature Janet but not desperate and weak.

He's always dramatic and extra as if his OPINION is better than anyone else's. Mind you he didn't become a Janet fan until the All For You era so I could really g.a.f. what he thinks on any issue concerning her music. He doesn't know her like the rest of us.

I loooooooove that song! That's actually one of my top 5 Janet songs ever and if she would've worked with Jam and Lewis we probably would've never gotten it.

    Exactly.

they captured the effortless, sensuality of Janet in that song and it sounded like Janet through and through.

I wish the album was more in that direction

its so timeless, literally wouldn’t sound out of place on radio today.

the video is a masterpiece too

Stop being unnecessary, dramatic & extra. Your opinion doesn’t outweigh anyone here. No one.

Who are the “no ones” that you speak of? Anyway, she made classic music with JJ/TL and some of the other music she made was excellent but undervalued. DJ did much better than Unbreakable has. Either way let’s see how the music plays out.

    Agreed.

RWU is one of her best singles since 2001 and that's a non JJ&TL song.

Wrong.  It’s a lead single from a new project.

All the hoopla around Unbreakable was that after several flop attempts of breaking away from them in the mid 2000’s, she had finally made it back to JJ/TL and the magic was still there.   If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. (God I remember saying that several times in the Janet forum 10-12 years ago)

That being said, the song could certainly surprise.  We shall see.  Here’s hoping.

Exactly, she went back with JJ/TT and came back with No Sleeep, which is a solid song, but not s strong LEAD single.

She has the most chemistry with them, but Harmony also has a solid production discogaphy as well lol, let's see what it sounds like before we hate it already.
