  1. I'm convinced that they're scrapping the existing video in favor of a new, more...LITERAL visual concept of "Dammn BABY" -- It's all about that baby bump our girl is gonna be sportin' here soon. I can just see that dance sequence now...

"gonna break it down, break it dowwwwn..." :excited:

  2. I even told him i'm in my 30s and that once he gets older he'll look back and see this is puppy love. He wasn't having none of it. He said he don't care about my age. I was like ok i'll just be his friend. We been talking a little over a month now and he's kind of possessive. He don't want me going to the gym saying I don't need to keep fit, he don't like the fact that I have so many friends on facebook, he even messaged one of my facebook friends to see if I was talking to them. He said if it takes me longer than 1 minute to respond to his text then it means i'm doing something. I was driving from Jack n da box and he messaged me. I didn't message him back til 4 minutes later and he said I must've been suckin' Jack's dick cause it shouldn't take that long lol. Anyway anybody else got some stories? Janet ain't doing nothing so let's talk about stuff

    I HAVEN'T LAUGHED THAT HARD IN A MINUTE! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

  3. The "Get The Party Started (Sweet Dreams Remix)" was...is...will ALWAYS be THE ILLEST remix of a Pink song, EVER! It was the last hurrah for my beloved 'R&B Pink' -_- I still think that her debut, "Can't Take Me Home" had some fantastic gems on it. The LP as a whole sounds very dated at this moment in time...but there are some songs that STILL get some burn from me.

Vocally "Let Me Let You Know" and "Stop Falling" are quite possibly THE best vocals of Pink's career, IMO. Shit, a few more tracks off that album would make a "Pink's best vocals" list!

But this jibber jabber is meant for another thread lol.

Saddened by "Differences" departure. :( Good riddance to the original "Get The Party Started" :P

  4. I'm GUTTED by "All Or Nothing"'s result :( I am the one (or one of the ones if there were multiples, which I'm sure there probably weren't lol) that gave it a 9. Dan Miller, imo, has THE absolute BEST vocals of ANY boyband member of the late 90's/early 00's boyband (just ahead of *NSYNC's JC Chasez and Backstreet Boys' AJ McClean)...he killed it on "Liquid Dreams" as well. I STILL bump "All Or Nothing" on a semi-regular basis...it's something like an anthem for me. Sometimes, when I get a little too tipsy and I'm at a karaoke bar...I get everyone to sing along with me. ^_^

"IIIIIIIS IIIIIT ALL, OR NOOOTHING AT ALLLL, THERE'S NOWHERE LEFT TO FALLLL...IT'S NOW OR NEVERRR"

  5. Madonna is desperate, gross, and a complete bitch. She STILL gave her fans videos, appearances, interviews, and horrendous performances, however, her fans ate it up, because they are her fans. My opinion about the quality of what she gave her fans is irrelevant. If Janet would've just done a few performances, and at least a heavy dance video, I would have been stoked, happy, and would have been amped. It would've even held me over for her supposed continuation of the tour.

You made me choke on my water, tryin' to kill my ass Jodi! LMFAOOOOOOO! :lol::lol:

  6. My parents are huge Jackson family fans. Heavy emphasis on Michael, and almost equally Janet. I remember hearing music from the Jacksons growing up all of the time, some of my earliest memories were dancing all over my house to songs like "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough""Rhythm Nation" and "ABC". Mike and Janet are really a package deal for me, I feel like I was bred to love them.

The moment I knew Janet was ONE of my favorite female singers, by my own terms, is when "That's The Way Love Goes" dropped. I remember being mesmerized by that smooth, seductive vocal and that hypnotic composition...that baseline though.

The moment I knew Janet was DEFINITELY my favorite female singer was when she blessed us with "All For You"...everything about Janet at that moment in time was absolute perfection. The "All For You" video showcased A bronzey-chocolate 34 year old BOMBSHELL with a perfect body, killer abs, and a smile that could make you melt, stunning the world with one of her most powerful, clear and concise vocal performances of her career, and putting on yet another 'I can kill choreography MUCH better than you' dance clinic for all eyes to see. I remember streaming the song on Windows Media Player the day it was released -- 3 days before my 13th birthday (back when we were using a PC that ran Windows Millennium Edition, rockin' dial-up internet access and you had to wait lengthy periods for the track to "buffer" ). Windows gave the track MAD promo on WMP, it was an event. I recall having AFY on repeat, it was an instant classic. I remember vowing, at 13 years old, that this woman was going to be the mother of my children, so help me God. Equal parts beauty, talent, intellect, and personality, with mad sex appeal.

That was the defining moment -- At that point I realized, for me, NO other chick was fuckin' with Janet.

  7. I only made this thread because I'm over all of the negative baby, religion, cancelled tour talk.

So whenever I feel the urge, I'm going to celebrate my favorite Janet songs.

Highlight and reinforce why I'm a fan! ^_^

  8. I've re-fallen in love with this song. I think I love it now more than I ever have! Everything about it.

    Them sexy ass lyrics

Them vocals and the delivery of them vocals

THAT BEAT (JD, you work my nerves, always have, but DAMN did you put it down on this production!)

Can't help but break it down whenever I hear it!

Hands down the most played Janet song on my mp3 player for the first quarter of this year.

"Oooh it's whatever your pleasure is to give me pleasure that's why I call on youuuu...Sooooo!:excited::excited::excited: (love that part!)
