Apparently space is limited and only the families of those that lost their lives on that day are on the guest list. This will be the first year the ceremony will be held at the new 9/11 Memorial. I understand space limitations but something really doesn’t sound right about not having room for the people who actually made it out alive. They endured a horrific event and lost friends and coworkers that day as well. Instead of excluding them altogether how about doing the ceremony twice if space is a serious issue. Do one for survivors and one for victims families perhaps. “It’s a real slap in the face on top of everything else we’ve already had to go through,” said Shannon Loy, who escaped the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 after going to the building on business. “It makes me really sad.” Some survivors still plan to go to the memorial on the 12th. -------------------------------------- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
