Janet issues a bold, encouraging statement: 'THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE" Janet Jackson’s number one hit “The Best Things in Life Are Free” from the soundtrack to the film Mo’ Money has been chosen as the song dedicated to the city of Detroit. Janet’s NUMBER ONES: Up Close & Personal tour, is her largest-ever world tour. Janet will dedicate a selected number one song to each of her fan-suggested stops. The show will be taking place in Detroit on August 16th at the Fox Theater. Of her upcoming engagement in Detroit the Icon has said, “True love comes for free Detroit. I love you!
