    Back to the damned subject! Wonderhoe was kind of right. Again, I liked the mystery of it. I took it as building anticipation. I really dont give two shits about interviews. I wish Janet would have at least made some music videos for this album, and released them with the singles. I'm starting to get pissed off, and tired of just listening to her music, and no appearances. Fuck interviews. Give us a damned performance, or two! There's slow, and building anticipation, then there's this bullshit!!!

    The first sentence is true. The rest is not. I'm not "going against the grain" to ruffle feathers. I truly believe DB isn't as second single worthy as BIU

    Your response tells me you still don't get it. Your lack of self awareness can and has been grating to others. Like I said, it's clear from Dayz's post that it wasn't just this single instance but you seem to not comprehend that. I just don't want him to call you out your name or anything which is why I spoke up, but there's a lot of truth in his posts and it has been a recurring theme about you for as long as I've known your online persona which has been for about 13 years.

    I didn't veer "so far right".. I just disagreed with the statement he made, he took it personal for some reason, and the rest is above. I wasn't playing devil's advocate  I do not believe Dammn Baby should have been second single. Hell Janet doesn't even pay that song dust on tour :coffee:.. She could have but didn't  hmmm

    Its called an opinion and i clearly flared his nostrils by stating my opinion -_- 

    You have a very unique ability to antagonize and you know it. You've been doing it for years and you're feigning as if Dayz is using this one instance where it's clear it's a cumulative effort of your contrarian views. And you can be entitled to an opinion but it doesn't mean it's rooted in sense all the time.

    As usual, I'm just the person who says what needs to be said, and what everyone is thinking. Surely this is her best album since TVR but no one is going to know it unless she promotes it. There's nothing to enjoy about this era other than album - the tour videos keep getting taken down, there's no interviews, nothing. The only thing she's doing is learning how to retweet. :umm: 

     

    And you know that I love you for honesty, but you ain't speaking for me this time around :lol: 

     

    i am am glad she's learning how to retweet or someone is doing it for her. I remember when she was retweeting something like 8 million times and I wanted someone to stage an intervention because it was all over my Facebook feed.  :lol: 

     

    But I understand your concern even though I'm legitimately happy. I used to never understand why the Darrren12000s of the world didn't care so much about promo, but now I feel like I'm in that same space.

    LOL @ the era just beginning. We are 5 months in on the 16th. :lmao: 

    5 months in to the last era, we had three singles, two Vibe covers, a Parade cover, two TRL appearances + a performance, two 106th and Park appearances, GMA, two album signings and a HOST of other appearances, interviews, and performances. 

    Ya'll can sit around and act like you're happy with the era thus far, but the truth will set you free. :lmao: 

    First album in 7 years and all you've got to show for it is a 2 minute BET appearance. :lmao: 

     

     

     

    C'mon now.  If you're upset she hasn't done interviews, that's fair and you can voice your opinion. If you're fine that she hasn't done an interview, that's fine too. No need to be reacting like that because people don't share your view.

     

    I personally like this era a lot more than just about anything she's done in a long, long time and it's because of the music. She may have promoted her albums more, but in my opinion this one is far more superior than what's she's put out in years.  I didn't become a Janet fan off of her interviews.

    I really don't mind. One of my other faves barely promoted their album minue award shows and I loved it. Janet is my ultimate and I'm loving it even more. The success she's getting without any promo is such a slap in the face to those that said she was forgotten or over and I'll take that. I waited 7 years for the music...not the Ellen/Jimmy style appearances

    yup. What I really wanted more than anything was the music and I've gotten it. "Love has taken overrrrrr. " I'm here at 5:09 AM blasting her music. I have gotten no sleeep :lol:
