    Chile please, the LWND is a C6 hit in mixed voice. If you download the janet. tour Peoria stop from Janet Media, you can see she's clearly hitting the note full out. Plus, I have the audio from the jones beach show where she's hitting the C6 in mixed voice. I've discussed this with friends of mine who specialize in vocal demonstration.

    C6? It's not a C6. It's a D6. That's Janet's highest note and she hit that note in the song.

    The note in LWND is a C6 and that is Janet, not an instrument.

    No, Janet hit a D6 then a trumpet played E6 and held it until she started ad-libing. Janet can't hit higher than a D6 hence why when she performed the song live she would run off stage after hitting the D6 and wouldn't sing the E6 part. The trumpet played it.

    I find it funny how she overstates the "success" of her 2009-2010 releases over songs like 'That's The Way Love Goes' and 'Doesn't Really Matter' which both actually hit #1 on the Hot 100 and went multi-platinum in several countries. I love how she pointed out that she actually writes her music. Gotta set the haters straight! :w00t:

    It's kinda interesting how she completely ignored Damita Jo, 20 Y.O. and Discipline. I guess those years were just a blur for her as it were for the public. :w00t:

    He said 6' something, lol Jd need to stop ,he can not be no dang on 6 feet. Janet is about 5'4, 5'3. and when she wears heels, you can clearly see she look taller than him and she's not wearing heels they look about the same size. that's why Janet could wear Jd's clothees lol. so Jd is probably 5,5 or 5'6

    Just saw the movie! Janet was amazing in this movie. I was really, really impressed with her acting :blush:

    I must say - I gagged when most of the ladies broke into a Def Jam Poetry session :lmao: I wasn't ready for it :lol: Tessa made me cringe with her poem in the dance class. Everyone in my theater was like :huh: I felt that she was a bit too amateurish for the role. When she delivered her lines it felt so contrived and the same can be said for Kerry too.

    Loretta, Thandie and Whoopi made me LOL through out the movie. I know it was meant to be serious but they were just too extra. Though Loretta was the main one that carried the movie she was just too theatrical. Janet's poem was the only one that flowed; I didn't realize it was poem until after she finished. Phylicia did a fine job too.

    Best: Loretta, Phylicia, Janet and Thandie

    Mediocre: Kimberley and Hill Harper

    Worst: Anika, Kerry, Tessa, Omari and Whoopi

    Overall rating of movie: 2.5/5 stars
