  1. Everything is done to keep the record in the top 20 so when the single comes out BB can make it go #one...

If people really loved the track so much it would sell a lot more. Timing has nothing to do with it

The Gaga/Christina was soooooo amazing, and EVERYBODY loved it and Made such a big deal about it... Yet the song only jumped 10 places on Itunes for a day before dropping again

She performed the song on every major show and it did absolutely nothing for her on itunes.

    That should tell you enough...

Even the AMA performance did Nothing for Gaga

  2. Not only is DWUW still rising all over the world, it's charted in the top 20 of almost every market that it's been released in.

The radio freeze has begun, this happens from December to January every year where current songs suffer due to holiday songs and end of the year countdowns, so spin gains will be very poor for most formats.

DWUW is #7 on pop radio, #30 on HAC, and #13 on rhythmic radio. It's #17 on iTunes. And #11 for overall airplay & #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. Once the video releases, it's bound to slay much harder.

BB is working their asses off to keep this song alive... so once the video is out they can make it a number 1 song

The single is a minor hit in some countries... but it's not rising all over the world at all

  3. Back up and lay off the stan crack..

I was trying to explain to you that everything she did starting with the SB to the tour was promotion for the album.. I gave the chick credit for what she did as far as the release of the album...

And all her fans on Twitter and every other blog are acting like she just pulled this shit out of her ass knowing damn well they know it was coming..

And this is more proof that hype sells records more than the music itself.. The real test is a couple months from now..

    This release doesn't need months

It's selling now, will sell shit loads next week and will then probably sink and start selling regular numbers

The main thing is, today tickets went on sale for her tour and it was hard to get them

This morning In Belgium she grossed almost 3M Euro (US$3.900.000) in less then 15 minutes

No one cares what happens to the album in 2014

  4. Target isn't selling the CD because they don't like that it was available on iTunes before physical. They said, "At Target we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, and when a new album is available digitally before it is available physically, it impacts demand and sales projections,”. Ironic considering Target always has the exclusives - you never see any of the other retailers throw their toys out the pram.

    translation:

Beyonce didn't give us the exclusive so we won't be selling the cd.

We don't give a shit what is happening to the music industry and support the declining sales of physical cd's by not selling the biggest cd at the moment.

  5. Well honestly it's not like the album was in stores. It was only for sale on itunes. There would be no sense of promoting an album that's only available on itunes cause not everybody has itunes and not everybody wants an album on itunes. When it's available in stores then yeah she should promote

She doesn't need to promote at all...

She doesn't need this album to keep selling as it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do

sell those concert tickets while still selling a shit load of albums

A few minutes ago tickets went on sale in Belgium for her tour here... I tried to get tickets for the concert but they were sold out in 8 minutes (all the standing seats were sold out before i could refresh my page) and i was on the site 15 minutes before tickets went on sale...

A second concert was added after a few minutes and i was able to get tickets for that one, but also sold out in less then 10 minutes

that's 40.000 tickets sold in less then 15 minutes

average ticket price €70 = €2.800.000 (and this is for one of the smallest countries in Europe)

so this and her selling more albums then ever before makes this a success no matter what happens nxt

the album can sink with 95% in January and no one will give a shit

  6. only thing I hate more than her music, which is truly forgettable shit...is her fans that act like she really is doing something....I'll wait a month to see her sales hit lows, and it wont take that long, shes an entertainer, like a dinner party, with bad food :filenails:

    but that's just the thing...

It doesn't need to sell in a months time... It will sell 2M WW before the end of the year and the tour tickets will be sold out within minutes

    job is done

  7. Yeah.. She's a touring artist... :umm:

I'm thinking you don't know business

I'm thinking you're just not very smart...

    maybe drank to much already?

    drugs?

    confused with other posts?

i mean, what do you think i'm saying....

ugh nvm... Bored myself typing this

  8. Shoulda, coulda, woulda ain't nobody got time for that.

Beyonce dropped an album at 12 AM UST and it shot to #1 in 67+ counties in as little as 12 hours with no promo, no hype, no single, nothing. Other acts this year released and didn't get the same response (107kney) WITH promo. Not to mention her tour outgrossing that of her contemporaries.

Beysus is HERE and the only thing you can do is sit back with a deck of cards and deal.

    update to 96 countries

  9. Sold tunes? I think the census is that the music is horrid

I don't understand how people found "new respect" for releasing a mediocre album on a whim... That's a horrible business decision and to base it on the "fans" is even worse.. Fans are gonna buy it regardless. I felt as if this project is rushed and that she's just too lazy to do proper promo for it.

That's like a technology company releasing their product without notice and for the fans..

    well

tonight i just made a date with 37 guys and 6 girls... yea you heard right! to see her in concert

and i really don't think more then a handful were fans of hers

so, i'm thinking.... good business move

  11. So you jump on board because of how she released her album???

You can call it jumping on board

I just found a new respect for an artist going against the norm and backing it up with solid video's and tunes

It has always worked like that with me... First comes respect

If that's missing i could never stan for an artist

  12. 2 yrs is def a long time in this industry in 2013 especially when no one cared about your last album thats like 4 yrs

    It's perfect timing

she was overdoing it and needed a little break, although 2 years is nothing...

I didn't feel she was gone that long and i never cared for her or followed her

  14. That's true.. And when will she learn that ratchet songs don't sell albums...

Justin, Usher, Rihanna all would have had the same hype if they waited this long..

Plus people knew an album was coming but they had no clue when..

I mean there were reports and pictures of her shooting videos...

    How is 2 years long?

Anyway... i never cared for her, but this just changed everything...

There's some great songs on the album and some great video's

I love it when someone changed the game, and she just did and has some great tracks and vids to back it up

I'm actually gonna buy tickets now to see her in Antwerp... I would never believe this when i woke up this morning lol

  15. DonnaSummer_LoveToLoveYou.jpg

These charts don't mean that much, but it's still amazing to see her at the top of the charts again after 35 years...

Now having 17 #1's (although the real total is around 24 with whole sides of albums hitting 1 back in the days and with Thank god it's friday not counted)

If they release a few more tracks from the remix cd she might overtake Janet

And the album has some really really good remixes...
