    Janet definitely doesn't need to be a social media artist.  She's a music icon and living legend.  

    Honestly, I feel for today's stars.  Janet ruled the game in a blessed era where artists were still able to make money from album sales.  Today's artists are lucky if even a miniscule fraction of all those thirsty followers are willing to actually invest in them by buying an album.  Save for a few artists like Adele, Drake and Taylor Swift, they are dependent on grueling tours just to break even and have a next project.  

    Meanwhile Janet's Unbreakable era has thus far produced an historic Number 1 Adult R&B Single, and a Number 1 album.  She's out-selling many of the younger artists that have millions of so-called "fans".  

    So true! Selena Gomez is a prime example. This girl just reached 100 million followers on Instagram,  but her latest album has only sold 1 million units mostly due to streaming. I am happy Janet emerged in the 80's.  She had real competition and she was still able to leave a legendary mark.

    it's the clothes which I won't comment on because I'm glad to see she's ok.  She's mostly top heavy which is normal. Her face always looks amazing when it's fuller and untouched.  I'm just laughing at all these blogs and people saying she's so big. Your not supposed to be thin carrying no baby. Hollywood has blinded people

    For Janet to be pregnant and not chubby would be suspect. I also like how she looks like an everyday pregnant woman. As opposed to a Kim K being 8 months pregnant and squeezing into clothes that are obviously to small for her.

    I mean the tea that was spilled after he died, Prince was pissed Janet Jackson got that huge record deal with Virgin...PISSED!  like come on now, she just came off an album that generated more hits than any album before nor since, and you mad? you can be mad but dont be surprised Janet was the hottest thing to put on a record.

    lol! Right! He was walking around  Paisley Park saying "fucking Janet Jackson fucking Janet Jackson". Lmao she had him in his feelings for real. But that didn't stop him from hooking back up with JJ and TL. And then going out and hiring Janet's main Chorographer multiple times. He could have called anybody but he zoned in on Janet's crew.

    Prince was very adamant about artists controlling their stuff because of what record labels had done to him, remember the whole "slave" thing he did? As for Janet, he was to duet on LWNDWY and for some reason that didnt happen. He did say in the interview Game brought up "sister of a Genius" that was the exact quote by the way :coffee:  and that was str8 up shade. As for Janet we all know she never said anything publicly but great things about Prince. Also if you want to spread knowledge and wisdom, you dont go through Janet's choreographer to communicate with Janet Jackson, esp when said choreographer doesn't understand what you're talking about anyway. Unless Janet herself wont take your calls for some reason, you contact her directly if your name is Prince and go from there. So no this does not settle the question of their feelings toward the other, not the many times Prince performed WHYDFML only to ask the audience at the end "who wrote that song?" The only thing dead here is Janet owns her masters already as that was a part of her contract with Virgin. The only wrong assumption here is the one Prince made, thinking Janet might not already know how to handle her business. :filenails:

    I've NEVER been a Prince fan.....I just never got the hype. So when I heard him say that about Janet I really didn't like him. Bottom line is Prince was pissed that JJ and TL when off (after he had fired them) and became mega producers through working with Janet and not him. They no longer needed Prince and he didn't like that.  Adding to that none of Prince's proteges were ever on Janet's level.... Hell Janet had surpassed Prince in the 90's. On top of that Janet was his arch enemy's little sister. Janet already had her shit together she didn't need the advice Prince was trying to give her.

    Only 2 episodes in and I'm already about to bail. I only started watching after seeing clips of Fine ass Angela Bassett in season 3 The Coven. That season was so damn good. None of the others since then have lived up to it. Circus and Hotel started off good but towards the end fell off. This new season is so boring and uninteresting to me. I'll give them one more episodes and then that's it. I won't waste my 10:00 slot watching that when I could be watching The little ladies of ATL....lol! Don't judge me.

    I wouldn't say it's dead. Janet has a lot of young fans in their early 20's but because she has become more reclusive over the years it is harder for her to attract even more fans. If you look at somebody like Mariah Carey she loves the attention she gets so she makes herself more visible to the public. Same thing with Madonna. Janet is the opposite. She will not  sacrifice her privacy for attention especially now with a child. I've always respected and admired that about her. It is one of the reasons I have stayed a Stan for so long. It's like her fame could be gone tomorrow and it wouldn't bother her. Hell she would probably welcome it.

     Rhythm Nation was truly ahead of it's time. And your damn right an appeal should be made to millennials about her music.  I was a little kid when RN came out and didn't really understand it.  But as I grew older I did. It's so crazy to think  that the same things she was talking about back then are the exact things still going on today. Time change but situations stay the same...unfortunately.

    Beyonce is a huge Janet fan.  She has been to every Janet tour except for RWU and UCNP.  I read earlier this year about the time Beyonce took her then boyfriend to the see Janet perform. The guy said he was really excited about seeing Janet and when Janet saw Beyonce and him in the VIP section she told him that he looked like one of her nephews.  He said "well your nephew must be pretty awesome! " Beyonce was embarrassed by this so she had him escorted out by her cousin.  I do believe Beyonce and Janet met up after that show.  Why else would she go backstage if it wasn't to see Janet.  She damn sho wasn't there to met up with the dancers.  She probably wanted to introduce her daughter to a woman who she idolized as a little girl.  I also saw Kobe Byrant's two little girls there.  Their mother is a huge Janet fan too. Janet also took pics with Bebe Winans and his kids and Jeffery Osborne and his family. I think Beyonce and Janet are cool with each other.

    in the meantime...MTO is showing 'proof' that janet is faking her pregnancy by posting a picture from last year that they are saying was taken yesterday of a supposedly 8 month pregnant janet.SMH

    lol! I just saw that dumb mess. Not to mention the typos made in that post. I saw this morning that both E online and Us magazine published that same bed rest story. One little lie becomes something that everybody post over and over again.

    well we are all Janfam and I dont like the discord I and some others were having, and I thought about it a great deal, like she could have come to some other reason to get out the spotlight I just had to give Janet more credit at this point than to believe she would say something this big and it not be true

    These stories are hilarious!  Janet has not ballooned to 250 pounds.  Janet just did a photoshoot on Tuesday and is doing one today.  She has been in Los Angeles throughout her entire pregnancy. Now whether she has had the baby already is the question.   :filenails:

    What!!!!! Are you fucking with us??? If true I can't wait to see it!  She is about to prove the media wrong yet again!
