Rihanna To Shoot 'You Da One' Video In London10th November 2011, 16:55 The 'We Found Love' star's manager speaks about the video for her next single. Rihanna will shoot the video for her next single 'You Da One' in London. The singer's manager told journalists at a preview for RiRi's new album 'Talk That Talk' that they were hoping to film the video before the end of the year. Joking about the "melee" Rihanna caused when she shot the video for 'We Found Love' in Belfast, Jay Brown said they were hoping to do the same in London. 'You Da One' will be the singer's second single taken from her new record 'Talk That Talk', which is released on 21st November. The album includes the star's currently Calvin Harris-produced single 'We Found Love'. Meanwhile, Rihanna's Roc Nation manager also told Capital FM during the album preview that the star was set to shoot another movie in 2012. As of today, that mystery collaboration has been unveiled as none other than the singer’s Roc Nation boss/mentor Jay-Z. Producer Stargate spilled the beans to a Norwegian website. The explosive duo collaborate on the title track which, under translation, is said to be a mid-tempo banger with hard drums and dirty synths.Rihanna and her mentor have appeared on each others records on a consistent basis. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that that they have reunited again despite the rapper not appearing on her last two albums. RIHANNA BECOMES FASTEST SOLO ARTIST TO 20 HOT 100 TOP 10'S Rihanna roars to a 20th Billboard Hot 100 top 10 single faster than any other solo artist, as “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, darts 16-9 in its second chart week. Having first graced the Hot 100 the week of June 11, 2005, with the eventual No. 2-peaking “Pon De Replay,” Rihanna reaches 20 top 10s in a span of just six years and four months, besting Madonna for the quickest collection of top 10s among soloists (from an artist’s first Hot 100 appearance) in the chart’s 53-year history. Madonna tallied her 20th top 10, “Hanky Panky,” the week of July 28, 1990, for a stretch of six years and nine months after her chart introduction with “Holiday.” Rihanna, thus, bests Madonna’s mark by five months. Among all acts, Rihanna’s run to 20 top 10s is the second-fastest. Only the Beatles sprinted to the sum more quickly, taking just two years, seven months and one week between their chart entrance with “I Want to Hold Your Hand” (Jan. 18, 1964) and “Yellow Submarine,” which sailed 52-8 the week of Aug. 27, 1966. That's more than enough for a no.1 entry on the global album chart this week. Arashi's former set 'Boku No Miteiru Fukei' went also easily at no.1 with sales of 731.000 units in the week 33, 2010. Beside 'Beautiful World' there's just another debut, US-rapper Lloyd goes at no.28 with 27.000 sales. The current tally has the fewest number of debuts since the week 2, 2011, when only one album was new on the list. Last week's chart-topper, Beyoncé's '4', slides one slot at no.2 after a 55% decline to sales of 232.000 copies. Her last album 'I Am... Sasha Fierce', which includes 3 huge single-smashes, 'If I Were A Boy', 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)' and 'Halo' sold 591.000 copies in its first full week at retail and was also a global no.1 (week 49, 2008). Adele's '21' leaves the no.1 spot for a fourth time and moved another 222.000 copies, an 8% decline compared to the previous week. Lady GaGa's 'Born This Way' slides also one slot down at no.3 after a 10% decrease to 199.000 sales. GAGA FLIRTS WITH A MILLION Huge Digital Blow-Out, Non-Trad Retail Leads to First-Week Sales of 900-950k May 25, 2011 She was “Born” to sell downloads. With a massive rollout orchestrated by Interscope’s Steve Berman and manager Troy Carter, Lady Gaga’s Born This Way will debut at #1 next week with the year’s biggest sales total, between 900-950k. That would be the largest debut since Taylor Swift’s Speak Now scored 1.04 million last October. In a watershed moment for the business, as much as 500k of that total will be digital, thanks in large part to Amazon’s price-busting 99 cent sale on Monday. Estimates are that Gaga’s album broke Coldplay’s previous one-week digital record of 288k on the first day, with an estimated 400k being sold across all digital formats in the first 24 hours. It’s clear the strategy of saturating non-traditional retail worked wonders. Arista Nashville superstar Brad Paisley’s This Is Country Music, the 10th album since bursting onto the scene in 1999, is on target for an opening week of 145-155k. Columbia’s Glee Cast Volume 6 will debut with between 80-85k, while Warner Bros.’ Maybach Music Group Presents: Self Made, Vol. 1, the Rick Ross-founded label previously with Def Jam, will do in the 50-55k range. Columbia/Jive/Legacy’s NKOTBSB, the joining of New Kids and Backstreet Boys, should do 35-40k on the heels of their blockbuster tour. Finally, Startime Intl./Columbia’s Foster the People, SoCal’s answer to MGMT, debut with Torches, which is in the 25-30k range, fueled by the alternative hit, “Pumped Up Kicks.” The market was down 5% vs. last week, up 2% vs. same week last year and still down 1% year to date, with Gaga ensuring the business will climb into the black for the first time in memory. Can upcoming releases like Beyonce, Lady Antebellum, Lil Wayne, Jackie Evancho and the elusive Dr. Dre help sustain the momentum when the biz goes up against last year’s first weeks from Drake and Eminem?

It took “Loud” just 23 weeks while her so far most successful album “Good Girl Gone Bad” passed this number in 39th week. The long play is still holding in Top 10 global sales charts (this week at #7 after selling 71,000 copies). Loud was certificated platinum in 8 countries (Australia x2, Canada x2, France, New Zealand, Poland, Switzerland, United Kingdom x4, United States and x2 in Europe overall).

Usher talks about Rihanna and possible collaboration Usher wants to do a duet with Rihanna. The ‘OMG’ singer said he has been close to the ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ hitmaker for some time and would love for them to make a track together. He told UK TV’s ‘Loose Women’ program: ‘Of course I’d do a track with her – hold on! Rihanna Record Sales Pass 10 Million In the UK Rihanna’s record sales in the UK has passed to 10 million mark, her record label has announced. The singer has reached the milestone six years after the release of her debut album, ‘Music Of The Sun’ in 2005. Rihanna is the only female artist to have a number one hit single in five consecutive years in the UK, and also secured the longest running number one of the last decade with 2007’s ‘Umbrella’, which retained the top spot for ten consecutive weeks. Her most recent album ‘Loud’ has already prodcued two number one singles and sold over a million copies in the UK, becoming her fastest-selling album. Rihanna's current set 'Load' is still the best selling album, moved another 130.000 copies, but that's the lowest weekly figure for a no.1 album since nearly two years. In the week 05, 2009 Beyoncé's 'I Am...Sasha Fierce' topped with 99.000 copies.
