  3. RIHANNA HAS THE #1 ALBUM IN THE WORLD!!

It was expected that Michael Jackson hold the the top position of the global album chart for another week, but at the end Rihanna's 'Loud' overtakes him after another 27% sales boost to 521.000 copies. It's

the first time in its six weeks on the tally, that 'Loud' is at no.1. The album started in the week 48, 2010 at no.3 with 406.000 copies, a total of 2,16 million to date. Michael Jackson's posthumous released set 'Michael' slides at no.2 in its second week on the list after a 32% decline to sales of 501.000 copies. Take That's 'Progress' sits tight at the third (up 7% to 441.000 copies and a total of 2,2 million to date). Susan Boyle's 'The Gift' throws down at no.4 (down 6% to 428.000 copies, 3,02 million in total ). Rounds out the top five is Black Eyed Peas' 'The Beginning' (up 15% to 362.000 copies, 1,23 million in total). New on the tally are Ayumi Hamasaki's 'Love Songs' at no.14 (180.000 copies), Jamie Foxx' 'Best Night Of My Life' at no.20 (144.000 copies), Keyshia Cole's 'Calling All Hearts' at no.25 (130.000 copies) and Keri Hilson's 'No Boys Allowed' at no.34 (104.000 copies). Now with the final weekly chart of the year, the best-of list of 2010 is complete. Lady GaGa's 'The Fame (Monster)' rules just before Eminem's 'Recovery' with 5.858.000 copies, only 27.000 more than 'Recovery', which stands in sharp contrast to the year-end list of 2009, where Lady GaGa was defeated by Susan Boyle in last-minute. Justin Bieber's 'My Worlds (My World + My World 2.0' is at no.3 as expected with sales of 5.648.000 copies.

  4. Rihanna rejoices at massive UK sales…

Posted by Toya | Filed under Rihanna

An ecstatic Rihanna tweeted today that she sold a STAGGERING 306,107 copies this WEEK in the UK of her new album ‘Loud’. Her SIXTH week! Those are PLATINUM numbers here in the UK, accomplished in a SMALLER market than the US – at that. People keep saying she’s just a singles artist, but this new album has proven differently. And even IF true, her worldwide sales compensates.Last week, the flame haired songstress sold 195K in the UK and 94K in the US. She’s killing it each week with these increasing sales. And do you want to know what’s hilarious? This bitch sold in her SIXTH week what MANY artists struggle to do in their DEBUTING week! LMAO!

  11. David Guetta announces shooting a new video for “Who’s That Chick”

and we thought the two versions “Night” and ‘Day” were already amazing! Well it looks like David Guetta is planning to shoot third version of a video promoting his new track performed by our girl Rihanna! The song is starting to climb high on international charts and it seems they want to promote it even more. The previous two videos were a part of Doritos campaign. David just announced on his Twitter:

We know that everything that David touches becomes gold and so does Rihanna, so we can only expect a mind blowing video!
