This one is about Beyonce. Idk if it's legit or not since it is Wendy Williams... HERE’S SOME NEWS FROM THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW…… well they were talking about the awards of course and after they did the run down of the show and performances….they started to take callers…..the first caller said that she was in the studio when all eyes on beyonce was being recorded and there was supposed to be footage of beyonce rehearsing for the VMA…..and she was working with one of JANETS choreographers and the whole performance was supposed to be a tribute to Janet since MTV been playing her…..and originally beyonce was supposed to open the show but they decided to let Justin do it (which was another slap in the face to Janet)…..and all the footage of beyonce talking about janet on All Eyes on Me was cut by MTV…..thats why we didn’t see it…….

Well.... In my opinion, I think Michael Jackson is a musical genius, along with Stevie and Prince. Those are the people who changed the music scene and they were the first to do it. The industry today is mostly made up of carbon copies of those who set the blueprint.

I would also count Stevie as a musical genius. I guess it all depends on what people's definition of a musical genius is. We all have different definitions.

A lot of classics are dated I agree because I think the song Thriller is dated, Human Nature is not that dated though, along with his HIStory album and from there on.

To the MTV reference, I don't think Michael was the first black to play on MTV I just think he was the first black to get heavy rotation... That's what I think cause after all I was born in the 90's lol.

It seems like some of you including the person who made this thread already have your minds set so what is the point of this thread? You are just attacking peoples opinions. If MJ isn't a genius I don't know any other musician that is.

If you listen to songs like Stranger In Moscow, the lyrics are just GENIUS. He doesn't just sing about how much money he gets and how many hoes he has like the rest of the people out now lol. His whole HIStory album had a distinct message is was just pure genius.

He made pop music, rock, soul, R&B, basically everything except rap lol... I can't think of a country one either lol. Michael along with Stevie and Prince were all musical geniuses. Quincy too.

Well Michael is a musical genius to me because he obviously did something right to influence a whole generation and have everyone out right now looking up to him. He just changed the game and made music that touched everyone.

Trey Songz is sooo annoying with his goat sounding voice. He is COCKY as hell and his albums BARELY go gold.!

I LOVE Yours. SO AMAZING.! lol. Of course my favorite MC CD is Emancipation because I can sit there and listen start to finish without skipping any songs....well maybe Get Your Number lol. I always thought that song was annoying lol.
