jarrylf
Sorry to bump such an old thread but I was watching a documentary on National Geographic called "The 90's". Anyway they said that OJ Simpsons acquittal was received well by black people because they felt like it was "payback" for the Rodney King verdict. Well that, and a history of the LAPD getting off for murder of the innocent at that point all the time, and black men going to jail for small things and getting pulled over. So for a black man to get away with murder to some represented hope. Hell its kinda wide spread that alot of the people who were happy about it know based on everything it's fact that he did kill her, but it was a heavy time for racial tensions. Hell the cops were 100% ready for a full blown riot if he got guilty.
