Every artist that has children writes songs about their kids eventually, or feature them in bit parts. Artists thrive on inspiration and what bigger inspiration than your first child? Madonna wrote about hers, lauren hill, whitney had bobbi christina on her song, Stevie wonder wrote about his daughter. I don't see it as exploitation at all. If they were painters or photographers and they did a photo spread or painting of her because they were inspired thats just what they do its what you would expect really.
