Honestly, the project was to give new material to her tour & fuel more sells. Janet has had music in the chamber since before, during, & after SOTW tour. 
 

At this point, she could drop an EP of new music/unreleased music. With some graphics & content to amplify it...that would just hold her over till next year. 

I just wish she would hop as a feature on someone's track by time. Like a summer walker's album or migos album. Set the atmosphere for the coming of her album. I also lowkey wish she acted and did the soundtrack for Black Panther 2. HER AND DOJA CAT needs to collab with Janet

This way she can finish the album before the tour starts. Maybe the tour could become something fresh instead of the same old we've seen and heard before. We know she thrives on challenges and maybe this time at home will give her some amazing new perspectives and ideas.

 

She should release the album next year, postpone the tour with a year and bless us with Superbowl 2021. It would be so amazing! I hope she and JayZ are already talking... She would be perfect after JLO and Shakira. And we all know the ratings would be crazy. I think she herself could be in the state of mind where she could do it.

Imagine it took them 5 weeks to conceptualize Metamorphosis. Janet has to create something different

Janet already said on this Ryan Seacrest interview that she will do something different with the BDWT. So, that's exciting. But maybe this quarantine time gives her new ideas and insights.

IMO nothing can beat the State Of The World Tour Intro with The Knowledge. Janet came out and gave you the sense that even though the SOTW Tour was not a high budgeted show as other pop shows, it still however ranked up their the status of those tours. She made it high budget herself. I just hope for this new tour she doesn't half ass the costume changes as have an overall outfit and just adding and taking out pieces throughout the show. Metamorphosis and S.O.T.W. Costume changes were obviously easier to change than a Rockwitu Tour or All For You Tour
