ik but it was very theatrical. That song in particular reminded me of the MGM Musicals that Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers were apart of. Bringing that element on stage made it feel less of a concert and more of a play or musical play production

Just checked her out and she is really good and will totally push the bondary for Janet without losing her essence. I forgot to tell yall that there was this one time I was on Gil's live some months ago and he had asked what performances you wished came back for her new concerts and said Alright with the Zoot suits becuase that was just a whole iconic era for Janet. He responded Ew nope never (or something along those lines)

Very true, you know sometimes i would imagine myself in her position in which she is a veteran who is still touring and having an amazing blessing like Eissa. Her first focus is that child and that child gives her the mamba mentality to work hard but not because she has too but because Eissa inspires her.

Totally different convo but yall im here like if she conceptualised metamorphosis with her team in only 5 weeks with brand new staging and choreo in contrast to SOTW. Imagine how epic Black Diamond Tour is gonna be especially with the extended postponement of the dates. Imagine the costuming she gave us a peak of her belly on jimmy fallon which might allude to later costuming.

Exactly I would love to hear The Great Forever,Gon B Alright,Burnitup and Night on the new tour. BTW For her performance for Night on the Unbreakable Tour is extremely underrated. I didnt like back when she first performed it because she wasnt dancing but now LISTENING TO IT LIVE. Probably would say one of her best live vocal performances. I imagined Gon B Alright having a mashup with Miss You Much and You Want This(so the fans will be satisfied with the hits being there.)For the Great Forever i imagined the choreo being a two person contemporary dance number with floor choreo.

Not necessarily i think i over exaggerated some songs but i would love her to reinvent/remix some of the songs as well ad take out some of her recently overplayed songs on tour

i mean what @Lenzo88 said is so true because mutha has been working EXTENSIVELY. There was an interview where she said that she doesnt work as long hrs as before but it feels like she is doing so much things all at once. This woman has never had a break since the birth of Eissa. His early years will just be full of his mother working and working tirelessly. 

This is the woman who jumped out of a 2 year tour and 5 weeks later curated a whole las vegas show with brand new choreography.

That is the hardest I HAVE EVER seen her hit the if breakdown. Plus when she is not doing choreography her STORYTELLING AS A NATURAL PERFORMER was on a different LEVEL. She may hit the same moves now but her storytelling and performing skills have been reduced to just standing and singing when she does not participate in choreo IMO
