She has now hired the Chamber Group’s Chris Chambers, whose clients have included Drake, Lil Wayne and Quvenzhané Wallis. Carey has also hired TV producers/managers Stella Bulochnikov and Brian Sher to represent her after severing ties in August with her former manager Jermaine Dupri. “Mariah is creating a whole new team around her,” an insider said. “New life, new relationships, new label, new management, new publicist, new residency, new, well, everything.” Earlier this year, Carey exited Universal Music Group to sign a new deal with L.A. Reid and Sony’s Epic Records, which reunited her with the execs who oversaw her previous comeback album, 2005’s “The Emancipation of Mimi". I didn't mean anything bad by that, Rihanna underperforming or going to number doesn't affect me because it's not going in my pockets. She hasn't had that big hit, that Number 1 this era. 45S did well but compared to her lead singles from previous eras, it did underperform. She usually has a huge hit leading off her era. That hasn't happened with this one.

This era seems seems very incohesive in terms of the sound and direction they're going for. We've heard 3 completely different songs and they're all just below average with no clear concept except "This underperformed so let me throw something commercial together and hope it sticks". Hopefully it all comes together seamlessly on the album.

The sound quality is amazing but I'm going to need a better incentive than just 3 of my fav's supporting it if I'm going to spend $20 on this. I'm going to enjoy this free trial and hopefully Bey, Nicki or Alicia release something that makes me want to keep it.

I love the album. It's probably my favorite from her atleast from what I recall of her other albums I've listened to. really enjoy how moody and emotional most of the songs are. She had a very emotional approach with her vocals on this album and that for me made it way more tolerable because I was able to get into the sentiment behind the songs, instead of focusing on the sometimes grating sound of her voice. The production is sick. Good job, 'Donna. I pretty much like of all the songs except for "Hold tight", "Autotune Baby", "Wash all over me", "Addicted" and "Graffiti Heart".
