That would be an extremely painful interview to watch. Unless she comes out with some project or something that completely overshadows the marriage stuff, any journalist/talk show host that Janet agrees to sit down with, no matter how much they know better ahead of time, will try to ask her about her personal life; things she doesn't want to talk about. And we would have to watch her bob and weave and dodge their questions. Which she is extremely good at, even if it's just her saying, "Next question." And as interesting and funny as those interviews are, how much satisfaction are we actually going to get? We all wanna know the personal stuff but she is hardly going to offer that up in a sit down unless its one of those tell all type things with Barbara Walters or O.

Look at Boo's curls though. Thats the first thing I noticed. And those Eissa given bewbs. LOL. This was definitely orchestrated though. She probably just wants us to know she's fine. If she didn't want to be seen, she wouldn't have been. Interesting how she is still completely covered. Maybe its just me because I like to look back at old pictures of Janet but I don't understand why everyone likes to attribute the change in Janet's wardrobe to Wissam. Both the Control and RN eras, Janet was mostly covered. And when she first married Wissam, we still saw skin. She was out in tank tops, wearing backless gowns and all but somehow he is the reason, she covers up? That's completely illogical and I wish the fans would stop buying into that bs. That is all Janet. If it wasn't, she would have been photographed scantily clad today. But was she? No. Gil has definitely mentioned Wissam in his IG live chats. He taught me how to pronounce his name and all. Reach.

But what does Janet wanting a man to handle things have to do with Sam being controlling? That's a reach. Just because he is taking care of her and being the man, doesn't mean he is making her change her show, dress more conservatively or any of that. That's who "What About" from TVR is referring to.

I have a hard time believing that after suffering physical and emotional abuse from James, foolishness and betrayal from Rene and whatever the hell Mauldin did to cause their relationship to end that, Janet would really deal with a husband that was controlling. All before Janet was young and broken and not used to dating but when she got with Wissam she was grown AF and healed from all the hurt in her past. It just doesn't make sense to me that after going through all of that growth, she would find her self back in the same type of unhealthy relationship. So, if that was the case; if he was "controlling," then maybe he did just become controlling throughout her pregnancy and into the beginning of little E's life. Otherwise, I don't believe it. At all. Granted, we are creatures of habit. And we seek what we're used to because its comfortable, but no. She's too self aware for that shit. I just don't see it.

They've been together through two tours and albums. Janet is JUST as private. I don't think Janet's career has anything to do with the split. Honestly, Janet didn't think she would even want to do music and such at this point in her life. So, I think whatever caused them to separate, has nothing to do with what she does for a living.

This is exactly why I don't want to believe it. We didn't have to know about it. Janet isn't the type to just talk about her personal life outside of her music anymore. So, why now> Why is she choosing to let the cat out of the bag this time?

Janet responded to the cancer rumor though. If you ask me, this rumor is still just that, a rumor. But there is something to be said about the "rep" that "confirmed" things with ABC.I don't believe it yet. Its just sad to think about the possibility of it being true. But at this point, the rep's confirmation may be all the confirmation we get, if any.

E News is saying the alleged split was caused by a difference of opinion between the two with regards to the alleged abuse Katherine was facing from Trent. E News ABC news is saying a rep from Janet's camp said they are not divorcing but, splitting. ABC news

Gil has been silent on social media for about 24 hours now, likely celebrating his birthday. He will probably "address" the tabloid rumor with a meme or something less satisfying. LOL.

I'm only a year or so older than the people I'm referring to, actually. LOL. I'm just 23. But missing a more risque side of Janet gives doesn't give anyone carte blanche to be tactless. Point blank. I don't think its true either. I really hope not. And if it is, that's truly unfortunate. Nonetheless, I think Janet should speak out. Not necessarily on that but just to give the fans something else to talk about. It's been a while since we've heard from her and it will calm things down.

EVERYBODY is reporting it but whats interesting is only one place, Daily Mail who originated this mess, has a "source". And everyone else is just citing them, including TMZ. But the fact that it gained traction so wildly is what makes people think there is some validity behind it. Do yal see the kids on twitter celebrating though? You guys should tweet Gil about it. He could probably tell J or whomever is representing her so that they can get an official announcement sent out or reconcile with ticketmaster about what exactly to do with the tickets.
