she's not coming, and she's gonna continue to completely ignore the fans there and not address the cancellations.

Janet and team need to hire some of us! Even though I feel most of the stans/fans are batshit crazy, it's only because we care.
If she doesn't want to do interviews and the tour goes on as planned, they can't take the same approach and they have to do some tv performances. I'm extremely hopeful and optimistic that they don't take the silent approach. The tickets won't sell themselves.
The album is AMAZING, but I'm not sure what the strategy is with singles. If I were them, I'd keep sending songs to radio.
The European leg needs smaller venues and should take place in strong markets. There's got to be some sort of single releases in Europe if they plan on going back.

does that mean you can get your money back if you bought your tickets online? or you have to go to an arena box office
as soon as refunds become available, most people will request one,
once a large number of tickets have been refunded, that'll the end of it all.
this is basically her way of saying sorry its over.

Janet is the most famous "Janet" on the planet... so when someone says "Janet" .. she is the one you think of immediately. So I would say she has succeeded with the one name thing years ago. " Jackson "is not much of a factor as it once was at the beginning of her career.
outside of the U.S that's really not the case.
If you said to people in the UK, I'm going to see Janet in concert, people would ask Jackson? To clarify.
It is not the same with - I am going to see Madonna in concert, I am going to see Britney in concert, Janet has just not established herself as a strong enough brand here.
Elsewhere in Europe you would absolutely have to specify Janet Jackson.

if ticket sales were a sore point first time round, why would that problem not be a bigger problem after multiple cancellations.

this thought crossed my mind, and yes it's pure speculation: What if since LiveNation reportedly pulled the plug on the Europe shows without telling Janet, she's now done the same thing to LiveNation regarding the US leg..?!
as a European fan i would have appreciated if she had 1) specifically mentioned Europe when she said that the tour will continue ASAP
or 2) acknowledged us fans here she cancalled on.
she's done neither, she's not coming back and she's not bothered.

Does she regret or distance herself from tracks such as "discipline" and the performances of it? or overly sexual songs on damita jo? etc etc - because it certainly doesn't sit comfortably with the new, somewhat more conservative Janet who has doubtlessly been influenced by her time in the middle east.
Nothing wrong with that of course, but as her life and situation has changed, I'd love to know how she now feels about her previous choices and work.

well I don't know what your shade is about but Janet remembers it well. She was talking about how she had not met her fans there. She tweeted it after the video. She wouldn't forget the 2nd city of the british empire. The city that lead the ship building industry.
in all fairness, I like glasgow, I'm from Liverpool and it's been fantastic to see glasgow have all the money and investment thrown at it, like Liverpool... both cities were pretty grim in in the 80s and early 90s! - went up there not too long back and the place looks good!!

For me, the fact that she didn't promote or do legs of the tour is not a big deal. It's the way it was all handled. It was hyped up at the beginning. We thought we were getting era.
Had janet just released the album like prince for example then none of these expectations would have set in.
But I think in many ways we were lead to believe we would get a full on janet jackson style era. That's what's lead to the disappointments.
For example, you wouldn't plan a arena world tour in places you haven't been for years if you weren't planning on doing it big. It was all misleading.
