No, I felt that way in realtime of her actual set. It always felt lukewarm to me. Even then the SB halftime shows were BIG prior to all the advanced technology that would come later. Even Beyonce's halftime was not that impressive..i expected her to go all out and she didnt do what i thought she would bring proudctionwise. This was one time where Katy Perry, Madonna, And Gaga outdid Janet and Beyonce. For instance i imagined Janet having like 1,000 military dressed dancers for RN..running and marching out on the field...and doing a big choreographed piece...I juss seen in my head a BIGGER permance than what she gave..it felt kind of contrived and limited to me. I never LOVED it like i wanted to. Then it could been like fire explosion and they go into the "IF" breakdown... Like it would have been OUT OF THIS WORLD! Juss the sheer fact that she didnt incorporate the IF breakdown into the performance was a drop of the ball. A4U should not have been on her setlist...it juss doesnt say "superbowl" to me
Vogue and Music was the only part of Madonna's production that was tasteful. The rest seemed like overkill and tacky to me. The song selections were odd too.
I don't remember the productions prior to Janet being much bigger when you include Kid Rock, Nelly, Diddy, and everything combined.

MTV produced Janet's Hall-Time show so they threw in a bunch of other artists, now it's Pepsi sponsored and shit has changed but yeah it was separated
yeah but also goes to show that they didn't care about all those light shows and Broadway production until Janet

I want the RN tour on DVD/Netflix so badly. I will accept all the tours tbh. But the RN tour is the one I really want because she really set a precedent as a performer(and perfected in on subsequent tours).
Netflix with limited DVD release because unfortunately that's the times we're in now. They only make good money from streaming

She should sing Again to remind people of her angelic voice.
Together Again and All Nite can make cameos.
If she really wants to set the record straight go for Love Will Never Do

They were correct about Made For Now, RRHOF, and her recent Grammy appearance. They posted a tweet with the number 8 and then a week later posted a gif of the seven dwarves.
Lmao we got Janet Jackson puzzles and scrolls now

Carpool Karaoke is extremely popular, especially for the younger demographic who aren’t too familiar with Janet. They’ll get to know her on a personal level as well as a taste of her extensive catalogue which will definitely help promote the album (with a new single of course!)
Oh I suppose that's true...
What songs though...

What is the benefit though? Do artists album sales and streams ever increase? I feel like that's more the deciding factor.

Would love a All Nite, Feel It Boy, Luv Me Luv Me, Made For Now caribbean medley

Yup! I remember a while back Jimmy said something like anytime Janet do good vocally in the studio the most he'd get from her was something like "I guess that's ok". He said she'd never really give herself a pat on the back smh

After her Superbowl blacklist I wonder if this means she's fixed her relationship with them for the next album. I doubt this is a coincidence. Especially with her boobs finally showing lol. Janet going for that #1 album in 5 decades, haha

Hi all,
I am a new member here, have been a Janet fan since the mid nineties!
I am looking for some Janet videos, mostly any award/tv performances, interviews, MTV specials and the like in good quality (eg not YouTube.) If anyone can help me out would really appreciate it. Cheers.

That rumored collaboration with Maroon 5 is about as close to the sound of today's standards for rock music lol.

The review of the show was good but it was embarrassing to hear that it was far from a sellout
Wasn't she only brought on board a day or two before the event? Sound more like the promoters fault

Which I’m all for, we’ve seen Janet caught off guard during interviews with constant questions about Micheal or putting her to shame about the Super Bowl Halftime show, so by all means, let the Queen prepare them!!!!
Amen. I know it sucks for fans, but we can all agree that the media can't be trusted.

Eissa won't remember most of it though, so it's not a huge stretch for her to get as many career goals in now. It's the 5-9 age range where the memories will impact him more
