I like the choreography. However When I watch videos on youtube you can see her and the dancers are not in sync a lot of times. I didn't notice it live but you can def notice it in YouTube. This is Janet mutha fucken Jackson and not going hard and in sync is unacceptable.
Yes, I've seen this too in some of the videos I've watched. Especially "If." There's always one or two of the girls who is either out of sync by a second or is not hitting the moves the right way. This should be fixed.
And there were no new changes to this performance from what I've seen. I hope that when the tour truly starts up again, there are more album cuts on the setlist

Agreed. This Collection has gotten more attention than her album as of late and it's something the fans can't really enjoy

Did they change the MYM choreography for the Dubai show or has it been this way since the begining of the UB tour? It's horrendous, it looks amateurish as fuck.
Don't know if its just me but the new choreographies seem to be all about arm movement and that's it.
She looks great though.Have to agree with you there.
Gil'sParris and Luther's new choreography is on the level of something high school cheerleaders would do. It's beneath Janet.None of the new dances for old songs are a good as the originals. Maybe Janet should get some new choreographers or start talking to her old ones again... I've noticed that she's done more walking across the stage as of late. This trend started with the RWU tour, I think, and has increased since then.
She does look great though (except for the pants).

On the topic of photos, I read from somewhere on here that she's gonna be doing another photo shoot in the next coming days. Has this been confirmed or is it a rumor?

It looks like we won't be getting the video today... I hope that Janet releases it soon. The more time she takes to release it the less help this horse race performance could give her in terms of promo, if any.

Have there been any major setlist changes to the show? I watched a few clips and they look mostly similar to how the tour was before.

This isn't from Smart Guy but in Will's bedroom in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, his entire wall is decorated in pictures of multiple legends like Nelson Mandela. One of those legends is Janhova herself who has two photos on Will's wall. (I don't think this has been posted either)

This one is a throwback and I don't think it's been posted in this thread. There is a Janet reference in one of the episodes of the TV show called "Smart Guy". Janhova is PRAISED by Marcus' date:
The short sermon from the girl begins at approximately 5:53-6:12. There's a bit of shade toward the Jackson clan, but seeing as how the girl views Janet as a shining star in the family, I think it makes up for it lol.
There's another Janet reference from this same series; I'll try to find that one later.

I have a genuine question. Why does that annoy people when they came from the same nutsack & egg combination? Lol it's something they literally cannot help, and it's actually true. It could be why they're the most successful from the family because they share the same "it" quality in their voice. It's like being annoyed with their parents for making similar siblings lol.
And she she would limit her true ability so she isn't compared? I don't think that's the reason & honestly I think when Mike sang out & she sings out, it's similar but Mike had a little something different.
I should have been more clear. I find it annoying when people try to use it to insinuate that she's trying to copy him/ wants to be him
As for the limiting voice thing, I was just throwing out random ideas tbh

Janet simply doesn't like to over sing and she has said that before. I still can see a Sade style of an album for Janet like "Soldier of Love" but you guys would raise hell. But I will say her vocals on "Unbreakable" are my favorite since "The Velvet Rope" and "R.N.". Remember the b side to "You Need Me"?.....she was going off!
Maybe she doesn't sing out as much because she doesn't want MJ comparisons and wants a distinct voice. Whether you like her or not, Janet's voice is unique. On this new album, people have been trying to find MJ's voice in every little thing. It's kinda annoying at times.

Hopefully they will start doing that when promoting the US dates. Rehearsal footage, backstage, traveling etc. This dubai show has gotten more promo than any and it really doesnt need any because the tickets were already sold as a package with the race.
I really hope she steps up her promo game at least a little bit from now on. Maybe--hopefully-- those European dates getting cancelled will be a wake up call for her and her team (at least then something good, although somewhat small, could come out of that whole fiasco).
What do you guys think of this 3-year plan? Do you think it'll actually amount to that long of a time period?

I think she has converted actually. In one of the shots for the one major photo-shoot she did for Unbreakable, there is a photo of her wearing what I think would be considered a stylish version of the burka.
The headdress in the first photo looks a bit like a hijab (my confirmation bias may be clouding my vision however) but the face garment in the second image is definitely something akin to the Muslim religion, no?
If I am wrong about either photo, I will apologize
