  1. Massive Attack's "Pray For Rain."
  2. M83's "Intro" featuring Zola Jesus.
  3. I take it you don't like Heligoland either then? Oop, lls. I never get it right. It is great though.
  4. I completely forgot about that song. Hell, Something To Remember altogether. I still prefer "Justify My Love" though.
  5. Oh I have heard "I Want You," it's good. I like the other too, I'm surprised I've never heard of it. Gal Massive Attack is amazing. I'm not well-versed on the group's entire discography, but of the three albums I'm familiar with, "Black Milk," "Mezzanine," "Unfinished Symphony," and "Splitting The Atom" are among the best tracks. Give them a listen when you get a chance.
  6. Come to think of it, there isn't much else to choose from. Save for The Immaculate Collection, her compilations haven't given us much.
  7. I did. I was also an innocent, stuck-up little cunt at the time.
  8. In order of my ranking of her albums: 01. Ray Of Light: "Skin." 02. American Life: "X-Static Process." 03. Music: "Paradise (Not For Me)." 04. Bedtime Stories: "Secret." 05. Like A Prayer: "Like A Prayer." 06. Erotica: "Erotica." "Waiting" is an extremely close second. 07. Confessions On A Dancefloor: "Forbidden Love." 08. True Blue: "Live To Tell." 09. Like A Virgin: "Like A Virgin." 10. I'm Breathless: "Vogue." 11. Madonna: "Holiday." 12. Moulded Candy: "Miles Away." Also, "Justify My Love" is my favorite song from all those featured on her compilations.
  9. It didn't completely settle before, why did she go back for more? And with (at least) three rounds of intensive enhancements, one would think she still wouldn't look older than she actually is. Yet: ----- Anyhoo, this is the appropriate place to say that I rediscovered Music today, after getting off my Ray Of Light/American Life kick a few weeks ago. Perhaps if she didn't do it so frequently? Shoo, stan.
  10. I've been so into The Velvet Rope lately. And Oracular Spectacular has come to define the current moments of my life.
  11. I thought she was number five on that? And the other lists, like most number ones and most weeks at number one. She placed on those as well, all top ten.
  12. She was top ten on all of those Billboard lists, correct?
  13. Exactly. Reminds me of this. Look at how many times her name appears (let alone where it should appear, such as second place for most number ones from an album and such). Five albums. Not thirty like Elton, twenty-seven like The Beatles, twenty-three like Elvis, thirteen like Mariah, eleven like Madonna, ten like Michael, nine like Whitney, etc. FIVE. And she's standing beside them all. Janet's power at her prime is unprecedented. [/stanmode]
  14. Statistically, that would be true. We also might not have had such quality albums though, so it works both ways. Mariah was all singles, save for two albums, and Madonna had some really shitty album material.
