Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 As news continues to roll in about Teairra Mari’s drunk driving scandal it seems that the situation is even worse than initially reported. The ‘No Daddy’ singer allegedly attacked a police officer while she was being taken into custody in Beverly Hills. Mari was arrested at 3am after demonstrating “signs of intoxication”. However, she said f*ck the police she refused to be booked peacefully and reportedly became combative, giving a law enforcement official a minor injury in the process. —————————————————————– Clearly, Mari does not care about her career. Despite being quite talented and receiving second chance at achieving success thanks to her record deal with Rico Love’s Division1 imprint, she is already proving to be more of a liability than a viable artist. Indeed, this entire incident is a PR disaster and not the kind of attention that Universal Motown needs, especially since the label is in a period of transition and quite eager to drop problematic acts. Mari might soon find herself without a record deal again and back on World Star Hip-Hop.
