Jay Gore, who toured with Hill during her 2007-2008 European tour, has claimed that Hill has not paid him for the last leg of the tour (for which he is owed over $20,000). Gore also noted that Hill harassed him and the rest of the band, particularly in post-show meetings in which he alleges Hill would critique and verbally abuse her band members in each other's presence. Gore's lawyer, Nicholas Andrea, noted, "We believe there are other musicians who have been mistreated by Ms. Hill in a similar manner who are reluctant to stand up for their rights and this lawsuit gives them a voice as well." A section of the suit notes that Hill once told Gore and the band, "I can't believe I am paying you fools, you should be paying me."
