Well this was certainly a flop thread for such a major award show. :umm:

the movies were out of touch with mainstream folks, very few films I saw caught my attention, with so many folks out here with creative ideas, Hollywood controls too much, I would rather celebrate exploring great movies and discussing them than sit around watching the folks sitting at an awards show, so I am not suprised few were engaged to the Oscars, the so-called best movies were not all that except "The Help"

The Help is the highest grosser among the Best Picture nominees.
