I disagree there. Trump was campaigning for 2020 2 months in ffs. That's just crazy. Dems do need to be more aggressive regarding showing policy differences and their economic plans. Getting strong electable candidates that can push the message and give them support.

What works locally may not work nationally but it doesn't hurt to try
they don't have to push their local policies we just need to hear their voices. Winning the White House comes down to the electoral college so the Dems right now need to get their base in each state hyped up. Trump is going around having campaign rallies the Dems need to do the same.

I filled out another DNC questionare they sent me on what policies and positions they should be focusing on. And what are the most important things that should be on election platforms in 2018 and 2020.
They cannot fall into this run against Trump only thing. Or speak too much on Russia. Yeah Russia is important and there's a lot of shady shit. But, it isn't that important to the voters they need to get back on their side. They need to focus on actual policy. Republicans made a HUGE mistake obstructing Obama for 7 years then not being ready to govern when they did get control of everything. Its not going to be "easy" to get control of Congress and the White House in the next 2 elections despite the obvious ineptitude of GOP. Fox News etc is POWERFUL to the red states they follow it religiously, they watch Hannity etc like they are actual News people not opinion based Trump buttlickers. Even with all the scandals and shit with Fox and how crazy their shows and comments look to us, their viewers are HARDCORE and it is still number 1 here.
Dems have to have actual REAL policies right off the bat to counter the do nothing GOP. They cant make the same mistakes and have to expect GOP to not work with them obviously. We also have internal divisions still on leadership and things like should we go all the way left and push for Single payer healthcare now like every other developed country?
Yes. Right now all they are doing is talking trash about Trump. Trump will self destruct on his own. I dont think Trump will run in 2020 or be allowed to so the door is open for the Dems. The really is no leadership right now and Nancy Pelosi and Schumer are not what they need moving forward. They need younger and more diverse leaders speaking for them. They need to make sure they are all on the same page including Bernie Sanders who keeps flip flopping from Dem to Independent. We cannot have his supporters doing this suicide my way or the high way mess in 2020.
I like senator warren and I like senator harris. I like the bill they wrote together regarding women in prison. It won't get passed under this administration though. and I like senator Al franken. Those are the people that need to be talking. They know how to talk shit without all the rehearsed statements and they are colorful. That's what drew alot of people to Trump. He was a spectacle. As far as single payer at this point people need to focus on just making sure another republican in not in office in 2020. I know Bernie's people want single payer but right now we are losing all our rights and single payer is just one issue.
The Dems have alot of young stars in congress and on the local levels. Mayors, judges etc. Its time to let them take the wheel

It has to do with one thing... after the Superbowl, she became the scapegoat for indecency in the 2004 election campaign. Ever since then, the media and much of the music industry has hung her out to dry. And Janet has been around... she just hasn't been around at their beckoned call because she knows most of them aren't going to give her a fair shake anyway.
Beyonce hasn't sat for a proper interview or called into a radio station in 5 years either, but she's a name that is on everyone's lips (which I have no problem with BTW). But the difference is her career has not yet been tarnished by the media. So she's following a similar path to Janet and making things about her fans.
But as a fan of Janet, it's not cool with me to let these shady moments pass by, so I'm going to point it out.we can't continue to use the Super Bowl as an excuse. No one listens to radio anymore so her songs not being played mean nothing now. People don't watch videos on TV anymore so her being banned from MTV is not an issue. The incapability of being able to take advantage of this free and open market which technology has provided is a large part of the blame.
The media and the public welcomed her with open arms when she announced her comeback and that was not taken advantage of.
Beyonce may not speak but she keeps her fans in the loop and keeps her name out there whether through product placement or social media. We get 3rd party information from producers and dancers

I've posted on the subject before, but would like to know what others have seen in terms of members of the media that continue to try and erase Janet's legacy. If you find blatant omissions of Janet's work, unfounded comments or other subtle forms of shade, post them hear. If we all know about them, maybe we can all refute them as a community.
For those unfamiliar with the issues, this post on The Inquisitr is a good place to start.
No one takes that website seriously and part of her legacy being erased or overlooked has to do with her not being around. That's not fair but that's the way it is with her.
