They are decent, especially for being on sale for just a week.
Some places are nearly sold out, while others are doing fine when you consider it starts in less than four months. With the first leg of UWT, we only got 2.5 months from the sales starting to the first show.
Low attendance won't be an issue, but the tour does need promotion.
With this many dates, management needs to find a way to keep her name and exposure out there.
I think she will do well in the big cities. The tickets being sold out doesn't always mean that it is sold out. A lot of the sales go to scalpers and brokers who post those tickets on third party sites. I do think attendance will be rough in the beginning in places like Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma and Oregon. That's not where her base is anymore. I think those shows may see cancellations or postponements as well as the Colorado and Wisconsin venues. There is just no base there. It will take some hardcore promo to sell there. I'm hoping they have some type of strategy this time around.
Her birthday is coming up. I know she is busy so I hope that this time around her team acknowledges when her peers tweet her or wish her well and retweet those or tweet back. Every little bit helps.

I used it and it let me in but keeps giving me this shit!
Sorry, there was an error with search.
Try again later.
I got this message at 10 am and it was still coming up an hour later.

Just saw this on entertainment tonight. They said Wissam gave approval for Eissa to travel on tour and showed how she is great at bouncing back to get in tour shape

She's getting there.

I have been thinking about this again and I really think it would be cool if she went outside the box and had a dance act as the opener, someone like Diversity for instance (I don't know who the US equivalent are). I think it would really hype the crowd up, you would have good music and good visuals at the same time and these kind of acts admit to being inspired by people like Michael and Janet. And since Janet admits that she can't do some of the moves she used to it would be a great nod to those early days but brought more up to date.
I think the best way to nod those moves she may not be able to do is to have someone who can modify the original material to work with her current abilities. The last thing you want to see is someone else slaying her dance moves before she even hits the stage.

I know but it seems as though the emphasis is coming from HER and her own camp rather than the media being shallow and sexist.
ETonline seem to have a close relationship with her and all their reports on her are accurate and the break it first
they did this before during the 20 yo era. I hope there aren't a lot of stories about it like then but people are fascinated by weight loss. I just hope every interview is not about weight.

Anyone want to team up for the VIP tickets for the DC or Baltimore show in the $350 range? I believe they are only sold in pairs. I'm not paying the $500-600 tix however.
are those the platinum seats? I was looking for something in section 121 but it kept say $500 I got section 120 but I'm not sure if the view.
-
$650.00 for front row a ticket in the VIP package
I would pay that for a pit or a seat on stage. Those seats go to corporate people most the time anyway. That's why the energy always sucks on the floor. Up in the stands is where the party is
-
Ticketmaster. Here is a screen cap that I just took and some photos from earlier when I purchased my ticket at around 2pm. The layout has what appears to be seats on stage. Very few good seats remaining at the Verizon Center.
wow. Thank You I wonder if that will be a pit or seats directly on stage. I need to find someone who will spend 650 with me.
-
The DC show also had a top ticket price of $650, so I'm assuming that's how much the "Front Row Package" is.
Where are you seeing this?
-
Janet's catalog along means she doesn't require an opening act. I did love the DJ before her show though
true but she needs to fil those seats so I say opening act

ET online is reporting that sources state Janet plans to take baby on tour ...or that's whats being said
I think that's great. No one should give her hell for it. Working mothers take their kids with them all the time.

During the first go round, I always found better tickets with the album pre-sale than with Amex. I'd go ahead and check when it opens tomorrow. I wish there was a way of knowing what tickets are already taken.
I got better tickets during the general sale. Hopefully they open up the best seats first this time. My live nation phone app kept freezing during presale.

She did it before with UCAP & Unbreakable
The scheduling was too much last time. She kept getting dick. I was hoping they would spread the dates out more for her health but I guess they want to get this over fast

she said "we" so she means her and Wissam are in court
well no one cares about him. So she is in court.
-
She announced "State of the World" and briefly talked about Eissa and that she's in court for divorce!
lmao if she starts going off like Mary J blige I'm here for it

If they could bring back that RN jacket. I wouldn't mind a new t shirt. The one last time was an old picture. I also want some type of glow stick and some socks

I just don't understand the timing. It will be 2am in the UK. It would make more sense to finish the countdown in the morning USA time then media outlets in both USA and Europe can report whatever it is during the day.
i just hope it is something satisfying, not some "I'm announcing that this will be my last tour because I am retiring to become a Chelsea yummy mummy"
she has the same team. should have been midnight last night to start Monday off with the blogs and entertainment shows talking about it throughout the week. Something bigger can happen between now and midnight that could blow her announcement out of the water. Grab the spotlight first.
That last tour announcement would not be bad. A lot of artists do that then comeback anyway. This could help with tickets sales

They refer to Rebbie as Aunty Rebbie and Janet as Janet Jackson??? And people believe that shit?
Ok.
And why is Janet's name on there twice?
-
I saw someone mention BET awards but did they mean Billboard? The show is on the 21st, she'll be 51, and could get great press....but it's a very quick turn around & I don't know if she's physically ready or not, but it could be interesting if that's the return.
This tour announcement is a quick turn around. If she wants to sale tickets she should hit every big show she can. She has performed chubby before and done it well. All she needs is some good lighting a pair of spanks and an amazing hair do and no one will even notice the rest.

come through
is this fan made or the official poster?

I was skeptical about their collab, not because I thought Bruno was undeserving or even because I thought it was a bad idea just because I couldn't think of how the song would sound. I know Bruno has done the sound but I'm also considering his voice & Janet's vocals as a merger...what key would she be in how would it complement...that type of thing.
I saw someone say Gon B Alright, but her vocals were heavily altered & produced, and that's more of an album cut a fan track. But then I listened to Dammn Baby and it kinda clicked for me. I can hear Bruno as a feature on Dammn Baby, even though those vocals were kinda highly produced too. That track can work. I can see hear it. So I'm very interested to see where it would go, maybe even something like Dream Maker. I love Bruno. He's really dope.
If she can blend vocally with Luther Vandross she can do it with Bruno. A lot of his vocals are just him talking with a little melody to it.

If she's working out as hard as they say we will see something.
