4) Kobe isn't on tour

5) Olivia Pope is a character played by the very talented Kerry Washington who worked along side Janet Jackson in "For Colored Girls"

6) Kobe didn't lose his fans bc we live in a rape-culture society. 

If Janet starts this tour again, it would have to start in Europe...HAS to! She lives here for a start. Getting up to do a Vegas residency well not go down well 

Let me clear myself up, I agree this is a part of a plan set out by her team. I agree completely, and if there is a tour I think she will be more open and engaged around doing that project. This is why I've been saying - she was doing something different before & is trying something different this time to counter what did not work before. I don't think it was because of Wissam, I think Janet herself is equally private and since she had been successfully living in privacy and it originally created a buzz about what is she doing & remember the wanted/missing poster? She tried to play that angle because she felt it could work for her...it didn't so this is a regrouping. That's my opinion.

My apologies, you're right. So scratch RWU & Discipline. Everything else is what she had to promote, but the entire conversation about her using Twitter & social media mostly for promotion came from some fan claiming Janet used to be active on social media - when we all know that's never been her thing.

Let's put up a bet, after all the fuss dies down...after she reveals her next venture - whether it be an interview, music, or another tour (relatively soon 6 months) she will be going right back into that shell she always had been. 

For UB, I do not believe they had anything to do with Wissam. She was trying to do her business a different way that did not work for her. Now she's shifting directions. 

This week has been a well coordinated tactical media strike by Janet.  Her teams both legal and marketing seem to just be in hyperdrive.

In 2011, there was the UCAP tour the most of the tweets says it was 57 tweets...think about that. When I clicked on the data the biggest amount was 7, 7 tweets you're calling active. Then in 2009, she had 44 tweets for the YEAR. Are seeing how ridiculous this is? Thats 2 tweets a month at best & most of it would be promo, but she didn't even tweet that often...that was right around RWU tour. She was never, really active on social media. Ya'll have to stop. 

Well, if you claim she was more active during tours - then she was not, then that would be called difference. I remember the entire time you being the person who continued to vilify the situation because of him being Islamic. We have seen pictures of Janet out and about buying flowers...in the baby shop...we've seen her. By herself and with others. She wasn't a prisoner. She hasn't said anything, everything is speculation.

Those who say bad things about him sometimes forget that marrying her might not have been the easiest route for him to take either. Marrying a twicely-divorced, middle-aged, controversial, American pop star night not be have been the most traditional thing to do in his culture. I like to believe that the two found true love against all odds.

ok next question....does she resume the tour and it is basically the same tour with very little changed? And Im talking to Janet here, I don't mean you added a few songs to make it longer.  NEW LOOK, NEW SHOW, NEW TOUR

She was trying something new. It didn't work. Now she's trying something new. Hopefully it works. Giving us that message from the studio & not being seen. She was trying to live in mystique & instead of doing it right...it kinda didn't help her. 

It has nothing to do with Wissam - she dated him during UCAP. 

Y'all do remember Janet before Wissam right? When she was ducking paps, going through back doors to avoid crowds, never using social media, disappearing from public eye...

It feels like, JD made y'all think Janet loved the spotlight. She has NEVER been a very public person. This is strictly playing into the fact that so many "fans" were frustrated with her privacy & wanting to hear from her. 

It's been said before, but if this is Janet without Wissam, I won't miss him.

That sounds great...only problem is....Will Wissam agree to let his son be taken to Vegas for months on end. 

The best damage control would be for her to do a Vegas residency. They will provide all the bells and whistles. Her & Eissa can be stabilized with somewhere to live, all she would have to do is go downstairs and work. She would get enough breaks and all. She doesn't have to travel the world & get people to buy tickets. She doesn't need to worry about 3rd party ticket sales giving her a bad name. She can do some minor press - print - discussing being back, "slimming" down, motherhood at 50, not divorcing but taking some time, & liberation. 

A residency is the best way to combat the trust she's lost with touring. 

well if he's not working for Janet right now then that means the other member in Janet's camp is currently unemployed once again. I ain't saying any names lol

02. What GAME said is true. There have been placeholders for months now!
Some for december 2017 others for july 2018.
03. Gil always says a lot but never mean anything. I don't believe a single word he says for a long time now...

04. I do believe she really is under some contractual obligation with Live Nation. But she can always pay the bills, let it go and start over!

Personally, I always wanted her to take some time being a mom and get back on the road a few years from now.
ENJOY THE MOMENT. And I also believe, now they separated, she might start something from scratch.

Unbreakable is all about her private and love live with Wissam... Its about her fans and family too, but I don't know...
For the first time I believe, if she decides to restart with Unbreakable, there will be a real revamp on the show, visuals, marketing and stuff.

Let's wait and see... But I think Unbreakable is over and she will move on.

 

wissam is a hypocrite. he openly dated janet for years while she was still doing her, and nobody believes they wasnt having sex before marriage. his early pre-marriage interviews he never mentioned religion to the point some fans wondered if he was even a practicing muslim. they get married and janet pretty much disappears, his post-marriage interviews he claims to be super religious and his faith is so important he even refuses to do business with companies unless they respect his islamic culture. i believe this dude did a complete change on janet and she tried to adapt but the baby changed things, she probably objected to some of his child rearing beliefs.

That would be an extremely painful interview to watch. Unless she comes out with some project or something that completely overshadows the marriage stuff, any journalist/talk show host that Janet agrees to sit down with, no matter how much they know better ahead of time, will try to ask her about her personal life; things she doesn't want to talk about. And we would have to watch her bob and weave and dodge their questions. Which she is extremely good at, even if it's just her saying, "Next question." And as interesting and funny as those interviews are, how much satisfaction are we actually going to get? We all wanna know the personal stuff but she is hardly going to offer that up in a sit down unless its one of those tell all type things with Barbara Walters or O.

While she doesn't have to clothe herself from head to toe, she is fine doing age appropriate music and wardrobe.

I think it's very selfish and demeaning to expect her to do what she's already done. If you want sexy Janet, go watch the past tours.

She's still radiant and beautiful, no matter what.

I have a hard time believing that after suffering physical and emotional abuse from James, foolishness and betrayal from Rene and whatever the hell Mauldin did to cause their relationship to end that, Janet would really deal with a husband that was controlling. All before Janet was young and broken and not used to dating but when she got with Wissam she was grown AF and healed from all the hurt in her past. It just doesn't make sense to me that after going through all of that growth, she would find her self back in the same type of unhealthy relationship. So, if that was the case; if he was "controlling," then maybe he did just become controlling throughout her pregnancy and into the beginning of little E's life. Otherwise, I don't believe it. At all.

 

Granted, we are creatures of habit. And we seek what we're used to because its comfortable, but no. She's too self aware for that shit. I just don't see it.

What I wanna know is who spilled the beans to The Daily Mail. Gil was just there and I'll bet Janet spoke to him about this. Not saying that he's the one but his "wait for it" tweet is odd now. Why was this made public seeing as how they are supposedly only separated not Divorcing.
