Also, why Wiki, in general, remains useless (I do intend on using all of this if you come at someone for sourcing Wiki ) if the source cited is wrong, it can stay up for however long, and it happens with every single artist that's released Buzz singles so no it's not credible.

Cause I missed that part, all I saw is them make the same mistake and call the buzz single a single, whilst offering less information than PageSix. For this to work for you, whatever you post has to be more credible boo, see PageSix is a tabloid but they were right and gave details that turned out to be true days before anything came out You gotta find something or someone more credible that directly says "Accelerate is the 1st single", PageSix one the "Sources say" debate, you gotta beat that with "Christina said"

I loved it more when it 1st got leaked, but I don't use it much anymore and it doesn't really offer much. RANDOM: My musical therapy lately has been Janelle Monae's entire new album, but the 1 song that speaks to the truth of who I am and how I am and how I feel more than anything is Don't Judge Me

I'm a extraverted introvert. I love people, I love talking to people, and hanging with people, but it can be VERY draining for me personally. I've realized that it's the weirdest inconsistent thing about my moodiness, if I'm away from my friends & fam that I love for like days on in I long for seeing them & hanging with them again as if it's been a decade, but then after maybe a good hour, I'm REALLY ready to be alone again. It's weird, and I love that I let people know this about me when we're getting to know each other (like if you see me at a party and I excuse myself to stand in a area alone.....I'm fine...I'm just taking a breather from it all) and most understand that even though most arent that way, I know a good few that are the same way. But yea I say all that to say for me I've found both being with people and shutting myself away both can sometimes be helpful and can sometimes solve NOTHING lol. It all starts from within....nurturing the spiritual garden a lil... otherwise me with others is just a distraction whilst the darkness waits for everyone to go home or for me to be alone.

CHILD, do you know what....with this last thing, re-arranging & organizing my closet & book shelves (which I've been putting off for like 2 yrs) was like a good start to making it better, like it gave me something to be really satisfied with and distract my attention and got me on the road to being bak on track like I am right now. So yea that's exactly it, no matter how big or how small, 1 thing minimum, anything that will distract and satisfy, theres no too small or too big

I've been going through mine lately...it's like a twice a year minimum thing for me. I can relate to like what Game said I have mood swings that can all be triggered & when I'm dealing or feeling at a low point I limit my communication. BUT my depression is totally different, outter things don't trigger it, it's within and I can hide it better than a mood swing, I can show you to your face the smiley glass is half full guy that is the truth of me and that everyone who knows & loves me expect, but inside this head can be dark as fuck, or sad as fuck, it can just be how the wind goes, it can just be about unaddressed or unresolved or unchecked issues or guilt, (....it's weird cause I'm like just coming out of like a 2 month one) honestly, sounds batshit crazy maybe, but saying what I'm feeling and why I"m feeling (going down the rabbit hole of it all) outloud does something, hearing my voice speak it....it  REALLY does something. I meditate & I pray, and those are good for concentrated thought, slowing the voices down, but speaking what I'm feeling out loud TO NOONE, for no judgment or feedback REALLY  does something for me...even if it's gotta be a whisper cause it's so sad or dark, get it out, hear it, sit/stand in it and keep digging to the root.

And once I find that root, 1 thing I do, that's a progressive step forward when I feel this way, I force myself, WHATS 1 THING I CAN DO RIGHT THIS MINUTE TO HELP, not to fix, not to make it all better instantly, but to get something going on the right track. Sometimes its reaching out to someone, sometimes it's going out, sometimes it's going straight to sleep, sometimes it's watching something listening to something, eating something, moving something. And it helps me.

Prayer & meditation help with getting focused, but action with those things is what makes the current flow.

In fact who in her camp directly said it's her 1st single?....literally NOBODY because it's literally NOT and never has been, that's the media doing what they do when they get a new song from any artist  You lost Game, PageSix was credible in how every thing turned out and is turning out, hell I knew it wasn't the 1st single when as soon as it came out she's been posting mostly about performing the duet next week....not this song Just think, if you had just 1 shot of her saying it's her 1st single, you'd have something, cause we see it all the time when artists announce a 1st single as a 1st single, it flops & it becomes a buzz.......but all you have is other articles assuming it's her 1st single, yet I have a article that was 100% spot on with EVERY thing the "insider" said was going to happen, including buzz singles not being sent to radio

That Page1 article is from a May 1st. Her flop first single was released later that (this) month... and it was produced by Krazy West  every credible source called it the first single therefore it is the first single. Page One is NOT reliable as it only says “insider sources”

The Insider sources were 100% spot on, not even like 60%, that makes it credible and reliable in this story sweetie. Basically you're creating the truth you'd likelol. I feel really bad for Teyanna Taylor, like this Summer was supposed to be her takeover.......and he's the main producer of her entire project.....I can't imagine how she must feel these days.

The GP knows the hits but the GP hasn't seen her perform them on live TV in 8yrs, it's not like she was on these shows doing this when Unbreakable was out.

Yes, it's the perfect opportunity to unleash a brand new slayage (All For You Icon performance style) but a medley is a good boost for the gp/casual fans, hell look at how she's been doing the hits on her tour new choreography, new breaks & breakdowns. Let's not acting like a Medley is gonna be like it was on the AMA's or XFactor in 09, hell think about the slaying of that Idol performance too, and how positively the public responded.

NOTHING from Unbreakable pls. From a fan perspective it's cute, but from a gp perspective, it always feels desperate when a Legend does a hits medley, and then squeeze in a song off their last album (that wasn't a hit) and released years before. 

I want a nice lil medley, I'd LOVE even if she didn't do multiples if she did just Rhythm Nation.......neither of the tributes that were given to her where that song was performed really brought it the way she BRINGS it. But I have NO expectations except to be SLAYED.

Accelerate was released 2.days.later, NEITHER of the songs that are out were sent to radio because THEY ARE NOT.SINGLES WHICH I KNEW THE ENTIRE TIME!  YOU put in THIS much work for....buzz singles. The actual 1st single will be sent to radio and she's performing it next week at the Billboard Awards. AND no matter how many references you have of Accelerate being called the 1st single (which we both know happens to Buzz singles all the time), point remains, this came out before the song was even released 

But I really wanna thank you for the entertainment, seeing you put in this much work for a artist you don't like over wrong information has really really brought joy to me in this crazy time. I know I can depend on you doing the most, making a bajillion reaches & whatnot when the 1st single is released, but for now I just loved that you REALLY did and really strong....over buzz singles 

I will personally riot if that masterpiece doesn't get a Album Of The Year nomination

Let’s get something straight about MTV. According to experts & fans, their reality television shows overtook music videos in the late 90s, early 2000s (ratings). There were more reality tv played then than music videos... Music videos were making the jump online moreso than tv programming during 2004-2008. Sooo Janet wouldn’t have benefited much from music videos then especially bc the music was meh

There’s no poll of the general public to base your opinion on. Let’s look at the critics who dismissed Janet’s efforts as “meh”

CBS could ban her but they cannot take away her talent, charisma, beauty, and music. Janet had full control of her sound. I’m not saying “if Janet released good music, Viacom would stop the ban”... I’m saying “if Janet released good music during her darkest hour, those albums would have been better... her legacy would not be tarnished” Viacom was not a good reason to release So Excited (a song about sex despite Janet hyping it to mean something else.. something Janet did a lot during that time... flip her music to mean something it didnt)

Sad we had to have an appreciation day and it being overshadowed on the day of the biggest televised event... ??‍♂️

 

Again more opinion, it was the only thing she could do to promote these albums and singles be more available to the public, its why her sales at that time though flops compared to her catalog weren't exactly disastrous based on the limitations.

MTV & TRL were still a vehicle that every mainstream artist was promoting on throughout those times, the dip in ratings and reality takeover happened in a more obvious way more so around Discipline, before that it still was a tool to help promote singles.

Yup, mixed reviews not polarizing negatives that's only found in the fanbase. There's no GP polls but there are articles about the worse releases of the years and I don't recall Janet making any lists, which even if she did, it's still not enough for radio to just halt all support.

But if you think she's all those things you said, how can it be seen that it's so easy to tarnish as just the mediocre music 

In the long run it literally was talked about just as much which is more of a win for her.

Again, your opinion, from what I've seen most of the GP thought they were OK at least, nothing special, but the harshest things I've heard about that music comes from the fans actually, most of the GP wasn't aware and didn't feel strongly 1 way or another

You're saying the music and image was too sexual for her age, yet for the last 11 years at the point of 1994, by that point and as recent as the era before, her biggest hits were primarily about sex in that time, it wasn't slowing down for her, and she's implied (and easy to tell) it's her favorite thing to sing about, so if that what she feels like expressing and talking about she has that right like any other does, and those songs deserved to have a shot on the radio.

And no, that's implying EVERY single hit is and always has been a critical masterpiece in order to be successful, but that's not how it works, Mixed reviewed songs go on to be mega hits all the time, it's all in the promotional vehicles, and that's why it doesn't matter, because her vehicle was JUST.HER. not radio. And at that time without radio....it literally doesn't.matter...period...again.
