It's a bit silly for people to act like members are "pressed" or "bothered" over changes made to a chart we have no personal investment in. It's a discussion about what represents us as consumers and the music we actually enjoy/purchase rather than what radio dictates to us or making assumptions about why we are viewing something. Good for any artist that benefits from these changes, but yet again it's another nail in the coffin for the validity of the billboard charts.

Charts should be based on sales alone, it's the fairest way. Radio is ridiculously polarised now. YouTube etc doesn't necessarily show popularity, it measures curiosity. We all watch videos of songs that we have no interest in buying just to see "how fat is xtina now" or "what crazy crap is gaga wearing". If I watch a video and then choose to buy the song that means I like it and that is what should be measured.

Why when faced with interesting questions about the possibility of lies and false information being purposely fed to the masses do people just dismiss and close their minds to it?

Ok, I would imagine they brought her vocals up a bit because I remember thinking she sounded better than I remembered on the number 1s, I just never compared it side by side because my dog ate my HIStory CD

I remember when Janet said MJ did that. Did they turn her back up for the number 1s cd? I haven't compared the one on history with that.

I suppose it depends on what you like. For me, pinks songs are much better, and her voice is just as good - just different. Either way, pink is more of an interesting artist.

I reality I don't think many people occupy one role in their circle of friends - if they even have a circle. Most people I know have a friend or friends which occupy different parts of their lives and these friends may rarely come into contact with each other. For me I have some old friends from high school, friends from uni, friends I've met out and about etc. some of these are people I talk to often and some not. Some friends I may not speak to for weeks but I know they are there if I need anything and viva versa. Then there are the friends you might see every week or so to go out partying with but it's not a deep relationship. And just like how each of these play a different role in my life, I play a different role in theirs. To some I'm the jokey fun party person. To others I'm the grab a coffee and catch up and talk about the news with. To others I'm their shoulder to lean on etc etc.

I'm really confused as to where you got this idea that I can't afford my own holidays or that I would have someone else pay for everything I do. It's give and take in a relationship. If you saw the pics of me and my ex in Vegas and Hawaii and San Francisco, you should note that that particular trip was paid for by me. He's taken me to places too. That's how relationships work
