    its the perfect clean up story, "tell everyone your pregnant you win sympathy and understanding for cancelling the tour"  after you don't produce a child tell everyone you tried and were not successful, (clean way of saying miscarried) and you get even MORE sympathy. Its a win win situation janet and no one ever has to know the truth

    I never said she didn't support him :blink: obviously she supports him and loves him.. Why else would she try to do a handful of interventions and show up to his trials?

    He begged her to do a duet before/around the time she went on tour for the janet. album... :umm: She declined.. She only accepted it when she felt as though she was out of his shadow. 

    Michael was facing a public relations disaster in 1994 after canceling his Dangerous Tour solely bc of that child molestation allegation which he paid heavily for. He was NOT in the best of light in 1994 and he needed Janet's image to clean his up.

    You live in a fantasy world if you don't think the child molestation allegation didn't hurt his image. He needed Janet and her team 

    Of course the allegations hurt his image. His fans continued to be loyal to him, and defend him. He didn't use her for damage control. Things aren't always about using people Game. He didn't "need her and her team" other than her moral support.

    Janet paved her way to legendary status without her brothers.. Thats why.

    The opinion of "die-hard" fans <<<< Janet Jackson's actions... Im glad none of y'all are/were running her career BC y'all "dilusionally-hardcore" fans would have ran it into the ground faster than Latoya Jackson's stardom

    MJ came to Janet looking to help his career after his first child molestation charge (and the fact that he was turning into a white woman). MJ Failed to steal Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis for the longest (as well as Janet in the early 1990s). Janet did Scream out of pity.. And rightfully so.. She should have done it alone IMO

    Janet did Scream out of pity? I think Janet has proven that she's not petty like some of her asshole fans. She said she did it to support him. Janet has proven to have her brother's back 100%. Michael is and was a huge star in his own right. He didn't really need Janet. Janet was icing on the cake.

    I mean do y'all really expect her to give you visuals and dance music in her 50s and 60s. Like what more can you learn about her in an interview? I've only seen 1 or 2 interviews in the past 15 years that were actually insightful and didn't ask her the same boring questions. 

    If Janet became just an album artist with the occasional tour that would be good enough for me. Hell, I would take the album(s) if touring wasn't feasible. I'm just not seeing how her not promoting the album beyond social media is a demonstrative of her not being passionate about her craft. She has nothing to prove and the way she's been unbothered this era is refreshing and it seems she's finally putting herself and her private life first.

     

    Yes, she can give us visuals at 50 and 60, and yes I do expect it. She's not dead at 50 and 60 for fucks sake! I definitely respect the fact that she is putting her private llife on the front line, and doing everything she can to keep it private. I was never interested in her private life anyway.

    I know I might be in the minority but I can actually respect Jan's approach during this era. Blacking out the media (like they did her for the last few eras) and using Jimmy and Terry as her mouthpiece has been brilliant. It really works in regards to the theme of Unbreakable and this new stage in her life. I don't give a shit of Janet never does another interview (print or televised) As long as she keeps churning out masterpieces like Unbreakable for the FANS then I'm G. Janet has had nothing left to prove since The Velvet Rope. AFY-Disc. we're her vanity/pet projects....she recently emerged inspired and with something to say with UB and look at the acclaim and praise she has been getting. And without a single interview or televised promotional tactic...a bad bitch!

    I agree with the giving interviews part. I do wish she would do performances though.

    Unfortunately your threads just happen to be on a Janet Jackson forum which I'm part of. That's how forums work. Though I'm not surprise you don't know how forums work. This thread is shit anyways. You're basically hurting Janet's image with that station which is under no obligation to spin Janet's song  

    A legendary artists like Janet is not equivalent to a noobie Indy artist. Janet didn't have to promote and she performed on tour. Her first week sales say just that.. Name an Indy artist who could... Can't?   boy bye :wave:

    Ok what the fuck. Can we get the fuck over it already? Its 2016! Janet is not the oldest person in the world to get pregnant! What the fuck is the issue, and why the hell do we need a spokesperson to use their "late pregnancy" as a "platform?" These kinds of feminists irk my goddamned soul.     Right, I don't know Janet is indy just like I "hate" Janet, and I "hate the album." I also believe Janet has a secret daughter, and that she and Michael are the same person.
