  1. Janet says it in "Feedback" and "Son of a Gun."
  2. it's nearly impossible to find ethical diamonds now which is why people use heirlooms.
  3. Sunshine emanates from the speakers when that song comes on!
  4. A crime that the full song was left off of the standard album. Agree or disagree?
  5. If Janet was having issues with her vocal cords, that could be the reason why she sounds differently on the album.
  6. I got my signed book from Janet two weeks ago. Seems like they sent all of the stuff fans ordered and were waiting for recently.
  7. Janet's management set the whole thing up. Conversations in a cafe references the initial meeting they had about doing a potential album. Her manager set it up and said that there was no pressure, but that they felt that it would be a good idea for them to meet and if something came out of it great, if not, no big deal. I wonder what happened to all the work Janet was doing pre-JJ and Terry Lewis/post Rodney Jerkins (2009). Unbreakable was recorded in 2014-15. Janet was recording right after the Up Close and Personal Tour, all the way up to the point she finally worked with JJ and Terry in 2014. There's a ton of material that was shelved. She was working heavily with Jean Baptiste and co.
  8. Could be an interlude backdrop.
  9. Well, Jimmy did say that the tour was going to be album heavy now. Also, her fitness guy hashtagged his photo UnbreakableTour, not videoshoot, or anything. That's why I think that this could be for the tour, or up first, the Dubai show.
  10. You're reading waaaaay too much into it. Janet is big on text speak and has been for over a decade now. She dropped the 333 from the title for No Sleeep. That's how it was originally spelled. Janet is one to use 2Nite, What's Ur Name, Rock Witchu, Can't B Good, Do It 2 Me, Love 2 Love, Dammn Baby, 2 B Loved, Gon B Alright, and so on. That's just the way she is.
  11. Maybe it's a backdrop video for the show.
  12. We've been down this road before. I'm not getting my hopes up.
  13. My country's problems don't even close to the problems those countries have when i comes to issues of homosexuality and human rghts. So let's not.
  14. Janet was fine with the media all through the Number Ones, True You, Up Close and Personal era. Then she got married and she went silent suddenly. Everyone was rooting for her comeback.
  15. She's done in Europe after this. People don't trust her not to cancel. Can you blame them? The stories fans have, the hoops they jumped through to see her this time only to have her cancel is heartbreaking. Janet let this happen with her no promotion routine.
  16. She had months to promote the shows to sell tickets so that they wouldn't be cancelled if that is indeed what happened. Please stop.
  17. There were a variety of promoters for other territories.
  18. Live Nation was handling Europe?
  19. What do you expect them to do if their client says that they won't promote their project? Jimmy Jam has been doing all the interviews, and Gil has been putting out wrong information, getting her into trouble, saying that her health is fine, and then a second later, they cancel something saying she's sick. Janet's a PR nightmare. I love Janet to death, but the fault lies with her, not her team. There's only so much they can do. If Janet just wanted to make albums and not tour or do interviews, I'd be fine with that actually, (provided she makes it known that that's the direction she's heading in). There have been artists that do just that. The making plans and then cancelling, and all that messiness though has got to stop.
  20. Next to no one is rich enough to fund an entire world tour. Do you know how many people have to be paid? The US legs were also not that profitable either. The album didn't make much profit either. Sales, if you can call them that, were due to her giving the album away with tickets and merchandise. I got a free copy with everything I bought. I doubt Janet made any profit this era if she's been funding everything on her own, and that includes the recording of the album -- producers have to be paid. This is why Janet should have been hitting every television, magazine, and radio interview she could do. When you're an indie artist and your bank account is on the line, you do everything in your power to make a profit. Her approach to this project was flat out insane. Perhaps one day she'll write a tell-all and fill us in on what was really going on. Everyone was ready to embrace her. Talk about a missed opportunity on so many levels.
