Elton sued for sexual harassment

Sir Elton John has hit out at a former bodyguard who is suing him for sexual harassment saying claims that he twisted his nipples and attempted to grab his genitals are 'baseless' and 'patently untrue.'

 

The 69-year-old star is accused of putting his hands down the trousers of Jeffrey Wenninger while the pair were in a car together in 2014.

 

It is also alleged Sir Elton tried to place his fingers between Mr Wenninger's buttocks and told the former security guard to 'get your todger out' and to 'say hello to Uncle Elton'.

 

It comes as the singer was pictured earlier today with his husband David Furnish and their two children Zachary and Elijah on holiday in Venice.

 

The family of four were seen strolling though the streets of the Italian city before boarding a boat for a ride on the waterways.

 

According to US gossip website TMZ, Mr Wenninger's lawsuit includes three alleged incidents involving the singer in 2014.

 

But Mr Wenninger's lawyers say similar acts happened 'on many other occasions' throughout his employment, 'escalating in frequency and intensity after 2010.'
