it's not about the relevancy of Janet Jackson.. i don't expect her to be selling 4-5 million records.. I love her for her vocals and lyrics... and being irrelevant or not doesn't make her less of a legend, trendsetter, and Goddess...

but that's Janet Jackson.. the same thing doesn't apply for the lesser

And nice try on bringing him into the conversation, despite his lack of being alive the man will always be relevant, his name will always be in the news, he's always gonna sell albums, radio all over the world will always play his stuff, none of that have to do with the status of the money or certifications.

But my question remains, would you call her relevant during those years?
