  1. I'm a guy. But I disagree, I don't think people have a true understanding of the depth it ran for Janet. Most ppl feel it happened & that's it. I think fans had a front row seat so they know what all happened & think others have that same feeling...but most outside the fan base have moved beyond it. I just highly doubt there will be any significant backlash.

That's why I'm kinda numb to it. Part of the problem is that this millennium hasn't been riped with many superstars as in the past. So he was probably inevitable. We have a good reason the complain, but it won't mean much as the narrative is pretty much set in stone.

  2. I think with the signing to Virgin and it being the biggest album contract at its time, there was a lot of pressure to make a great Janet album, instead we ended up with lots of songs that didnt hold up, "This Time" monotonous to all hell, "Funky Big Band" a poor man's "Alright" ..."New Agenda" dated and noisy. I do think "What"ll I Do" is a good track but I like the Dave Navarro remix a ton more

This is the first time hearing this mix. I love it!!!! This would probably would have been serviceable to radio than the album version (I think that the drums and guitars could have been moved around to flow better) . While I can appreciate the song for having some of Janet's rawest vocals,I can admit it did serve more so as a filler.

  3. That's not the Depressed part. Its the point of you hating yourself and then coming here to hate on Janet over and over and over and over for the last 2+ years :coffee:

You made your point... You think it flopped. Grand. Your opinion doesn't matter still

You're the Great Depressed bc you don't know when to shut the fuck up with the negativity.

Don't forget the fallacies, distortions and manipulation of discussions they engage in.

  4. So it wasn't about sales, but making money? I thought Janet Jackson didn't need that? That's what the recent informative JanetsLegacyMatters video said.

Nice try. What I was saying was that the label or other parties weren't in debt. What makes a project a failure if there is significant debt.
