The movie was very well done for a cable music station. Lil Mama slayed to the heavens with her performance. She needs to focus on acting as her priority now. All the ladies did well. However, they did not detail LA Reid's involvement in their finanacial problems and thats not right. He was married to pebbles and had his hand all up and through the pot as well. he actually made more money off of TLC than Peppbles and the girls. So he should have gotten dragged too. Pebbles children have the right to feel some type of way because that is their mother. Rhonda Ross flashed on mary wilson once after mary wrote her tell all book. However, much of what was said about pebbles in that film was common knowledge. They did indeed do those girls wrong. But when TLC offered to let her have some imput she turned them down. So now it is what it is.Release a formal statement and take legal action if need be, but please don't try it with social media because you will just get dragged.

I never said Mellie wasn't important to the show. I said the dynamics reveal who the side piece is and it aint Olivia Pope. Second of all, Olivia was involved in the cover up of the election rigging. So was Mellie his wife. And the president himself killed a supreme court judge. They are all flawed and none of them are perfect. But they are not all around evil either. The characters all have good and bad qualities. That's what makes the show great to watch. You seem to feel some kind of way about the show. Maybe you should just watch it and get it out of your system. Or at least gain a better understanding of the shows dynamics.

Mellie isn't a minor character. If anything she's a main character. But I digress, what would you have her character flaw be. Should she be a serial killer, a mobster who is also a killer, should she be a bitch for the fun of it like Amanda woodard on Melrose Place? You seem so consumed with the cheating aspect that you are ignoring other qualities that are interesting to the plotlines and characters. For the record, Mellie, the first lady is morally more flawed than Olivia. There are worse things being done than sleeping with a married man.

Not only would it had been less interesting, it would have been unrealistic considering single men are rarely elected to the highest offices in the country. Any image consultant/fixer can and will tell you that. Olivia was actually hired for the very reason of making Fitz and mellie appear to be more in love. All this was explained in flashbacks. Once again you would have to watch the show. And her being a fixer, with a big hidden secrete is only one element of the show. The core of the show is how she tries to balance doing the right thing for her client and herself on a corrupt playing field. She struggles with that every week. Her sleeping with the president isn't even the biggest secrete on the show. The fact that the election was rigged, fitz didn't win and people have died to keep that secrete is the biggest Scandal.

If you watched the show you would know the Dynamics between the characters and you would know that Olivia is far from the side piece. if anything, she's the main woman, since he and his wife are together out of convience and to present a family friendly front to the republican party. The president and first lady are not in love. However, you're right, Olivia is sleeping with a married man. That's her flaw and many lead characters have them. That's a part of what makes the show interesting is her moral struggle. Just like Tony soprano is a mob boss, Dexter was a killer and Don draper is an asshole.

Her actions regarding the affair are not to be commended, however how she conducts her business, handles her clients and solves situations is professionalism at its highest. There is no animated buffonary for the sake of shock value. And so what he's white. Would it be better if he were black?

When black folks aren't cooning, especially black women, some folks can't deal. Yes, i've watched bbw, rhwoa and other ratchet shows. But I understand that's not all black women do. But some folks can't accept black women in strong roles unless they are yelling, screaming and acting a fool. Sad thing is, Olivia Pope is based on a real black female who worked in DC in the 80s and 90s. After DVR numbers were factored in it was actaully 12 million.

Some folks just don't get that. They don't understand how big of a deal that is. Rumor has it Merideth Grey was originally written as a black female, but ABC wasn't having it. So Shandra had to cave in and make her white. When Greys anatomy blew up Shandra was able to present her idea for SCANDAL. But kudos to her for getting a sista cast in the lead. And i don't get the need people feel for saying, "Oh I don't watch scandal", or "I don't get the hype around that show", like its a badge of fucking honor. Okay, we get it, you don't like the show. And your grand prize for that are the fucks no one gives. Now that that's been established, last nights episode was good, but I'm going to need Olivia to get back to actually fixing some shit. She hasn't successfully fixed her clients mess in about five episodes. Last night her client died. And Bellamy Young as the first lady is on her way to stealing the show this season. Her drunk scene at the end of the episode slayed. Kerry needs to be careful that her show doesn't get stolen right from under her!
