Honestly, while ticket sales for the new tour are mediocre so far, I feel once the first single comes out and is promoted like hell, the tickets will sell astronomically more!!!
she literally just announced the tour tho. You're right about the promotion. She needs to start promoting. The 1st date is 4 months away so she has enough time

This sucks! Only 74. For me it seems the more acceptable age of passing is 80s and above. I don't feel she's lived a full life

I thought about this after watching Fallon. It really would be nice to see her in carpool. But her lack of confidence in her singing voice will keep her away from it.
Yup! I remember a while back Jimmy said something like anytime Janet do good vocally in the studio the most he'd get from her was something like "I guess that's ok". He said she'd never really give herself a pat on the back smh

Got my ticket for the Sacramento show August 17th! Floor 2 Row C seat 3!!! This will be the closest i've seen her other than sneaking up front row during a crowd scuffle during the Unbreakable show in SF I could've gotten a Row D seat 8 which would've had a direct middle view but not for no $200 extra

Lmao!!! I think people are afraid of her doing a rehash of her RN30 tribute but I don’t think she will!!! I think it’s very likely to be a completely fresh and new production!!!
that RN 30 tribute was hardly a tribute to RN lol. She literally did nothing to tribute that album when I saw her in SF at the Chase Center last year. The show and the production was amazing nonetheless

I'll be seeing her at the Golden 1 Center again in Sacramento! This will be the 7th time i'll be seeing the Queen. I'm thinking about going to see her again in San Jose which is the next day after but idk. Then again I have my friend Nando who lives like 3 blocks from downtown San Jose which is where the SAP Center show will be held

Forum allies not only greater your chances of survival, but also build your popularity. Whenever you're pressed about Beysus involved in a debate, argument, fight, etc, you can always count on your forum buddy to see eye-to-eye with you and understand your point of view. Count on your forum buddy to agree with your posts, laugh at your gifs, chat about the size of Angie's rack, etc. Everyone on the forum will associate you two as Laverne & Shirley, and thus your popularity grows.
no one knows who you are so....

She looks much better on video but these pics up close with the flash is a no. White light does not belong on black skin period

I went on and watched it. Looks like my friend was joking around with me, the guy loved it lol
-
I didn't watch it cause one of my 23yr old friends at work was saying this guy was giving it a low rating like a 73 out of 100 or something like that. Was he just messing around with me?

In the 90s it would've been a cute side project but traditional rock is basically dead.Would be more interested in a guitar driven song on a hypothetical new album.

Considering what happened with 9/11 and the Glitter fiasco with Virgin during that era, she pretty much had no choice but to cut it short and as for DJ, after the immense backlash she received that year, a tour would have cost her, not to mention Virgin, A LOT of money!!!! The only reason she went back on tour was Discipline was a #1 album and “Feedback” was a sizable hit with Island Def Jam backing her like her previous label use too!
Overseas was ready for Janet regarding both projects

I love that wavy groovy sound those songs have. If the album sounds like this then I love it

Just think how high she would be if AFY and Damita Jo got the eras they deserved. AFY had at least another major smash.
AFY and Damita Jo were both her fault. She could've resumed the AFY tour later on and she could've toured for Damita Jo but she didn't.

Billboard's Top 125 Artists of All Time
14I wonder what criteria they're using. Definitely not album sales or no.1s cause Trailer Stiff shouldn't be right behind Michael and 6 spots above Janet.

Where did you get that specific info of "far" from a sellout? Look like it was a huuuuuge crowd. I hear it hardly ever is a completely sold out event.
-
The review of the show was good but it was embarrassing to hear that it was far from a sellout

oh no! What age are you? My momma just turned 60. My dad died in his 50s but he wasn't much of a father anyway.
